I'm thinking about things that might improve my life

I'm wondering about small purchases that might improve my life. So far I'm thinking:
A couple more phone chargers - one to keep downstairs and one for work

A small, non-pod coffee machine for the bedroom. Any recs?

A plain black cashmere scarf, so I don't need to have to match to cost and/or outfit!

What small things improve your life and might improve mine too?!

Folding step stool for reaching things on high shelves, lightbulbs etc. I just bought a second one to keep one downstairs and one upstairs. How’s that for a glamorous life hack?! Grin

Thanks for the reminder, EndlessAutumn, I want one of those! Think I will get it from Lakeland.

Not such a small thing, but we just got a new radio/CD player including internet radio, and it is FAB.

Just ordered lots of nice soaps from Wild + Sage based on a recommendation from here. Got the razor set too as it's sustainable. I imagine it'll pay for itself eventually.
I seen how much I'd not spent due to lockdown and thought I'd splurge!
I bought some mui tai bags also recommended here but no holidays to take them on.
The water bottles from Costco has been a big hit here in my house! Even got the kiddie versions ...
Just thought I'd return and say thanks for the recommendations.
I've also treated myself to a Kindle Unlimited subscription and it's very useful for books at night with the DC. They have more range then the library sites for kids

Small diy jobs that seem insignificant compared to eg redecorating an entire room, but are actually the things you use every day.
I’ve just replaced our toilet seat for one that actually fits, and had a lid that stays up. Took fifteen minutes (and a lengthy amazon search).

I have several bath robes of differing weights and thicknesses. So nice to be just the right amount of cosy depending on whether it's getting out of the shower or lounging under a blanket. And airy floaty ones for summer, a variety of colours and patterns. Me too! When I come home and know I'm not going out again, I always change into a bathrobe or kimono.

Charging leads - I agree, long ones and several locations
Glasses - I wear them and the only time I consciously clean them is in the car. So, have my spray cleaner and micro clean cloth and go for it at traffic lights.
Travel - I travel for work a few times each month so have decanted miniatures of my skincare and beauty products in my bag. I always try to avoid using the hotel shampoos etc ... but do take them and save them up to donate to Women's Refuge,
Cubes - my travelling life has been transformed by using the range of zippered bags. I use 2-3 sets = amazing.
Home life - just my go to suggestions.
Bedding - I only use white sheet sets. Whether king, queens or pillow slips, there's no need to match. So simple.
Socks - as someone mentioned, simplify. I only wear black knee high. Buy heaps of the same and then just pick two when you need them.
Work desk drawer - have 'cup of soup', nuts, crackers etc on hand for emergencies.
Sandwiches - quick lunches. I freeze ham, cheese and condiment (chutney, tomato sauce or whatever ...) , wrap in baking paper, and freeze in plastic bags. They can be taken to work and put in sandwich maker, or to school thawed. Delicious.
As lots of other posters have said, a gift drawer/cupboard ... Stock up on cards when cheap, buy in sales ... always pays off.

I like this idea. You could prepare the first two days and freeze the last three days worth of sandwiches in one go. Coupled with varying frozen soup portions, I'd be fine for a weeks worth of work lunches. That would be so much easier!
