New thread for a new year!

A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

S: latte
L: Greggs southern fried chicken baguette, walkers cheese and onion crisps, flavoured water
S: cup of tea
D: M and S Thai curry and special fried rice
Mince pie

Blush diet starts um next week.

@Nuttyaboutnutella same, although I'm hoping I've managed to keep in maintained recently, I won't know for another ten days!

B- cinnamon porridge with almond milk
S- 2 plums
L- itsu katsu instant noodle pot, satsuma
S- popchips, a bounty celebrations chocolate
D- chilli prawn ramen with sugar snap peas- first time making this at home and it was so good!
S- will be 2 crumpets with olive spread and marmite

B - Greek yoghurt, stewed apple and blueberries, sprinkling of mixed dried fruit and nuts on top.

L - Itsu katsu instant rice noodle/soup pot (snap @onlyhereforthefood !) - to this I added some shredded chicken breast and a soft boiled egg.

D - Spaghetti Bolognese (carrot and courgette grated up into the bolognese)

S - handful of grapes

3 cups of tea
2 litres of water

L - Tuna Mayo sandwich
D - Bowl of chicken pasta

S - Pack of S+V snack a jacks, a pear, a nectarine, a yogurt, 1 celebration chocolate and a Lindor ball.

B- lots of black coffee (no sugar), just wasn’t hungry this morning so didn’t bother with breakfast

L- bbq chicken salad wrap, bbq pop chip crisp things, bag of mini party rings. Pepsi max cherry

D- home made cheese pizza with a good drizzle of chilli oil

2 glasses of white wine

B: weetabix, raisins, slice of bread
L: cheese on toast, grapes, apple
D: veggie lasagna, broccoli and carrots. Yule log (it's for epiphany?) . If anyone is looking at the "next level" yule log recipe in the Christmas good food magazine, don't. Unless you want the sponge to taste like really odd lebkuchen, and the filling to be way too sweet. Not a recipe we'll be repeating.

Half a pot of keffir. Two slices of buttered malt loaf.

Homemade celery soup.

Honey sandwich.

Potato, onion and cheese bake with beans.

Four chocolates.

Lots of water.

D: M and S fish pie, lettuce and a couple of bits of crusty bread. Kit Kat.

B: muesli with prunes, toast and Marmite, black coffee.
L: butterbean and vegetable soup, hunk of baguette and butter, tangerine.
During afternoon: some almond milk chocolate, toast and Marmite, tea.
Supper: jacket potatoes, some kind of Higgedy quiche - think I've gone off those - baked tomato. Crackers and Stilton. Couple of chocolate truffles. Red wine.

60oz water, 2 Yorkshire biscuit tea & 1 lovely coffee

Oats, blueberries and yoghurt again for breakfast here. Just had beef mince with butternut squash and a doughnut for lunch then will have some mince and quinoa for dinner.

B - skinny sausage, two small rounds of wholemeal bread, squirt of ketchup
L - raspberry quark yoghurt
T - pork meatballs & parsnip mash
S - mixed meats, small piece low fat cheese, pom bears

1 coffee
2 teas
1.5 litres water

onlyhereforthefood fingers crossed to at least maintaining for you then 👍 the ramen sounds lovely!!

I generally love food but I'm sick of eating today 😂 probably because it suddenly feels like a chore.

B: Toast with peanut butter, a banana, tea

S: Nesquik strawberry milkshake, a pancake with butter and maple syrup

L: Jacket potato with chilli + cheese, salad with an olive oil and balsamic dressing.
Yoghurt with chopped nuts and blueberries.

S: several quality street chocolates and some Yule log.

D: pork and apple hotpot, green beans.

S: picked at some cheese and crackers. Wi have a cup of tea plus some toast with butter and honey soon.

Doh! Started one of these threads by mistake. Missed this one

This was me today

Breakfast potato farl with pure spread
“Creamy” pasta with peas, Sundried tomato and broccoli. Was a left over meal from last night.
A couple of biscuits when I got in before heading out for run
Making a pea, leek and mushroom risotto, with a side of tenderstem broccoli and a slice of garlic bread.

Did run ten miles, and did a gym work out

B: granola with prunes and yogurt, toast and Marmite, black coffee.
Another black coffee later.
L: bread, hummus, mushroom paté, tea, a chocolate truffle.
Supper: ate some garlic and parmesan twists with a couple of glasses of white wine while cooking. Lentil and chorizo stew, roasted butternut squash and roasted cauliflower.

Waving at everyone!

B - usual
L - carrot and lentil soup, oatcakes, a pear
Two dried fruit and nut balls
No dinner as such because I went to a class, so I had a small roll with butter and peanut butter before, and a slice of yoghurt cake after (with some jam as it’s getting a bit dry now)

Oh what a day.

B - usual muesli etc
L - cucumber, carrot, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, olives, walnuts, Wensleydale cheese; grapes
Snack - rosemary crackers
D - baked potato with butter, baked beans , cheese and coleslaw; white chocolate

B- cinnamon porridge with almond milk (finally at 10:45am when work calmed down!)
L- root vegetable soup, wholemeal sandwich thin
S- popchips, plum
D- chicken dippers, micro-chips, veg (because I couldn't be bothered to cook real food)
S- vanilla greek yoghurt, banana, granola

Breakfast was two slices of seeded toast and butter. Lunch (eventually after a long walk with toddler DS who wanted to go and meet daddy from the train) was stir fried turkey mince with spinach and peppers and have just had dinner of home made chicken satay and noodles after an hours beasting at bootcamp.
