So...who did you vote for?

I know there are plenty of threads on voting intentions but it makes me wonder how many of those people actually end up voting. So to those who have and don’t mind sharing ..who did you vote for and why?

I haven’t actually voted yet but I will be doing so this evening after work.

Well at least one Conservative voter on this thread is also a Katie Hopkins fan so.....

Oh, that's me too! waves
Wouldn't say I'm a fan, just agree with a few of her stances. But that's a TAAT...

bellinisurge · 12/12/2019 12:45

This election is about Brexit. Not about how much you "care" about the NHS. People who are voting Tory are generally doing so because they think they are the least worst option on Brexit, not because they have hearts of stone. It's about time you realised that. Although I suspect today isn't the day to do that.
I spoiled my paper, btw. None of them deserves my vote.

suziesue45 · 12/12/2019 12:47

I popped in to the polling station on my way to work (NHS) and voted for the Conservatives. This whole election is more than the just the state of the NHS and most of the other Dr's and Nurses I work with are voting exactly the same.

LochJessMonster · 12/12/2019 12:47

@bellinisurge Agree. I voted Tory because I voted to leave and still want to. Tory are my best bet at that. I had no other choice.

peachgreen · 12/12/2019 12:49

Alliance. I suspect I'm in the same area as @ArlenesWoodBurningStove as I would have voted Green if they'd been standing. Alliance is the best chance to oust the DUP here. If I'd been in England I would have voted tactically to get the Tories out but I support the Labour manifesto.

LouisaJenny · 12/12/2019 12:49

Will be voting Labour after work.

peachgreen · 12/12/2019 12:49

suziesue45 yeah, right.

TooMuchBloodyChoice · 12/12/2019 12:50

I wanted to remain in the EU, so voted for Lib Dems.

I would've struggled to choose between Boris and Jeremy.

MrsFoxPlus4Again · 12/12/2019 12:52

It was either labour or SNP for us. Went with labour.

Chanel05 · 12/12/2019 12:52

Conservative.

aggitatedstate · 12/12/2019 12:53

Lib Dem. purely based on brexit mind you and now slightly regretting and wished I'd voted Tory 😬

tenredthings · 12/12/2019 12:54

How many of these replies are Tory bots ?

goodluckdontdie · 12/12/2019 12:54

I popped into the polling station on my way to work (venture capitalist) and voted for Labour. This whole election is more than the just the state Brexit, and the other millionaires I know are voting exactly the same.

Coffeetoffees · 12/12/2019 12:56

Boris. Brexit. Labour haven't been clear about their policies. We might leave we might not.....

BotAccusationDetectorBot · 12/12/2019 12:57

How many of these replies are Tory bots?

BLOOP BLEEP

!Baseless accusation of the presence of bots detected!

BLOOP BLEEP

GlassOfPort · 12/12/2019 12:59

On my way to the polling station to vote Labour.

Given the likely consequences of Brexit (less money to spend on public services, possibility of disastrous trade deal with US, doctors and nurses less likely to come from EU countries, etc), this election is also about the future of the NHS.

So my priority is stopping the Tories. For anybody else that also wants to vote tactically, this is one of the best sites tactical.vote/compare?ru=1&couk=1&pv=1&bfb=1

DumbFlagScum · 12/12/2019 12:59

G R E E N

Retpark101 · 12/12/2019 13:01

Green

RaspberryBubblegum · 12/12/2019 13:01

Labour.
I'm voting with my heart not my bank account. Children are going hungry and homeless are dying on our streets, and I'm not prepared to look the other way on those things.

NigesFakeWalkingStick · 12/12/2019 13:06

Labour. No contest. I can't sit back and idly watch whilst our nation becomes decimated by a misogynist twat.

Wouldn't say it was busy at my polling station although I've never voted there before as I moved after the last GE. My constituency is a Tory safe seat though.

JumpingFrogs · 12/12/2019 13:09

Tactical vote for Lib Dems in what is probably a futile attempt to unseat our dreadful Tory MP. I's raining and it was completely empty

pootroll · 12/12/2019 13:11

Labour 🌹 because the alternative is horrific.

DarlingNikita · 12/12/2019 13:13

Green. Safe Labour seat, so I could afford to.

1066vegan · 12/12/2019 13:15

We're holding a mock election at the primary school where I teach. I don't know what the school result is but my class voted green. I'd downloaded simplified versions of the manifestos and the children worked in small groups, talking about them and highlighting the things that they liked and didn't like about each party. Then we had our secret ballot.

After going through the manifestos and asking me to explain anything they didn't understand (I bit my tongue and was scrupulously apolitical and independent) some of them were probably better informed than their parents. One girl told me that her dad had said that when the Queen and Prince Philip die, Jeremy Corbyn was going to knock down "the castle" because he "hates the armed forces"!

DumbFlagScum · 12/12/2019 13:15

I am hoping that the huge queues mean something fundamental will shift.

Does anybody know what the turn out percentage will be
