Placemarking to come back and read the comments on Friday afternoon.

SingingLily · 08/12/2019 23:13

These are facts. Please don't vote conservative

I can't be bothered checking the rest of your "facts". If they are as wild as your "20,000 fewer prison officers", there's no point.

Still voting Conservative.

TSSDNCOP · 08/12/2019 23:15

I don’t vote out of spite. I vote because I have considered the options and made a decision. You may not like it, but listen I’m not even going to try and influence your vote because I imagine you are also a person that’s considered your options. These threads are puerile. A person that doesn’t agree with you is not your sworn enemy, they don’t have cloven hooves they are not educationally challenged. They simply don’t agree. They are allowed by law to do that.

Gilead · 08/12/2019 23:16

Another winter choosing between heating and eating. Great.

Theworldisfullofgs · 08/12/2019 23:16

Went to local hustings tonight. Tory candidate (current MP) couldn't be bothered to attend as he was at the races...

SingingLily · 08/12/2019 23:17

They are allowed by law to do that.

I love democracy!

ilovetinsel · 08/12/2019 23:18

@TSSDNCOP you are also allowed to change your mind. Please consider it.

Yawn yawn yawn

Bore off

Gilead · 08/12/2019 23:18

It’s funny you know, even the FT approved of the Labour spending plans and yet still folk are promulgating the old myths of Labour overspending. Mind the Tory underspend is clear in their manifesto, particularly the SEND section with a spend of zero.

TSSDNCOP · 08/12/2019 23:19

No thank you. I wouldn’t ask you to do that, please therefore respect my decision.

Thestinkycheeseman · 09/12/2019 00:46

The desperation for people to vote labour on this thread is hilarious

nrpmum · 09/12/2019 06:47

@ilovetinsel please don't tell me how to vote without giving me a reason to vote for Labour. Which, so far, you have not done. You have just denigrated the Conservatives. On top of that the labour supporters on this thread are baying at the Conservative voters by slating BJ whilst bashing them for slating JC.

You are throwing stones from the same glass house.

ilovetinsel · 09/12/2019 08:01

Please vote for a party that wants to fund social services, the police, education, the NHS, the emergency services, tackle inequality, save the planet you live on & your children will inherit. Someone who wants a kinder world.
I’m not actually telling anyone to vote labour. It would be better to vote tactically if you live in a swing seat.
Please do consider what this government has done and vote for policies not personalities.

Absolutely agree.

That's why I'm voting Conservative.

leckford · 09/12/2019 08:08

I would imagine bookies are already taking bets in whether Corbyn will resign when they don’t win. My money is him refusing to stand down and will still be their glorious leader when he is 100, and they still won’t win!

SingingLily · 09/12/2019 08:10

On 28 June 2016, he lost a vote of confidence by Labour Party MPs by 172–40. Unprecedented. His response was that the motion had no "constitutional legitimacy" and that he intended to continue as the elected leader.

How likely is it that he would take any notice of the People's Vote? After all, this is a man who doesn't seem to have changed his mind on anything since at least 1983.

He is the Conservative Party's secret weapon.

noblegiraffe · 09/12/2019 08:23

That's why I'm voting Conservative.

If you want to vote for a party that will actually fund social services, the police, education and so on, why are you trusting a party that has run these services into the ground over the last decade?

If they wanted to fund them, they could have. Yet they are only promising funding (not actually funding) because there’s an election coming up. Have they shown themselves to be trustworthy?

SingingLily · 09/12/2019 08:32

By voting for a party that would run the whole country into the ground?

Nope.

I'm voting Conservative.

MustardScreams · 09/12/2019 08:33

How is labour going to run the country into the ground? I hear this sound bite lots, but no actual evidence. Can I see yours please @SingingLily? Very interested!

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 09/12/2019 08:35

Can't wait for it all to be over on Friday with Boris installed as PM!

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 09/12/2019 08:35

Do these goady momentum 🤡 and fan girls/boys ever read the posts they write about other people who (horror) have different opinions?

It’s hardly a campaign to win hearts and minds is it? Embarrassing.

Completely ostracise those who don’t perform like seals for them... ✅

Run around screaming like banshees at people on any thread they can find. ✅

Have zero self awareness in what they are asking telling people to vote for. ✅

Virtue signal embarrassingly whilst completely missing the point on the importance of a strong economy to support the things they supposedly ‘care’ about. ✅

Achieve the objective of getting more votes for labour. ❌

ABC.

ANYONE. BUT. CORBYN.

TheBlueStocking · 09/12/2019 08:35

People who vote conservative are vile. People are suffering for your selfishness.

SingingLily · 09/12/2019 08:35

Please don't @ me, MustardScreams. I'm already on the thread. Thank you.

MustardScreams · 09/12/2019 08:37

@SingingLily is that evidence or...?

SingingLily · 09/12/2019 08:38

I'll ask you nicely again, MustardScreams. Please don't @ me. Thank you.
