The ugly comments on this thread are in the OP’s post and they were said by leading Conservatives.

Come on, Tories, are you willing to own your shit or not?

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 22:20

Well they may say they do care, but they evidently dont, as shown in their voting habits, Slownandwild

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 22:22

I suspect most tories dont actually think of the UVF/UDA as terrorists, or now what they are.

CendrillonSings · 08/12/2019 22:22

You can just smell the Momentum desperation, can’t you? Anything to distract from the cabal of economic illiterates and antisemitic cranks they want to run the country!

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 22:24

*know

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 22:26

Economic illiteracy? tell me how austerity and their economic policies have in anyway worked and why you're wanting more.

No answers here.

Snowjive2 · 08/12/2019 22:28

Cendrillion tell us how the vile comments in the OP’s picture are okay with you.

CendrillonSings · 08/12/2019 22:33

Because only Boris and the Tories can keep Labour’s antisemitic cranks and socialists out of power. It’s really very simple Smile

ilovetinsel · 08/12/2019 22:34

In your heart of hearts you truly Believe that THIS man is the best person to run our country?

Thestinkycheeseman · 08/12/2019 22:35

To answer the original op.
I don't agree with any comments about people's religion or beliefs.
I agree with the political points they make

Thestinkycheeseman · 08/12/2019 22:37

Over the other options... I really do

Snowjive2 · 08/12/2019 22:38

I don’t believe you, Cendrillion. Your triumphalism on other threads suggests that you are no reluctant Tory. From which we must infer that you endorse the vile comments.

MustardScreams · 08/12/2019 22:41

@CendrillonSings is a Tory bot. You just have to look at their posting history. Ignore them! All they do is post ridiculous statements to try and get a rise out of people.

ilovetinsel · 08/12/2019 22:50

Ignore the spin, ignore the lies. Stick to the facts.
2010-2019 this is where we are:
1000 sure start centres closed
780 libraries closed
700 football pitches closed
Food bank use up 2400%
Homelessness up 1000%
Rough sleeping up 1200%
Bedroom tax caused mass evictions
Evictions running at record highs
35% of kids in UK live in poverty
Student fees up 300%
Student debt has risen 150%
Eradication of education maintenance allowance
National debt has risen from £850billion to £2.25trillion
GDP fallen to 0.1%
Manufacturing in recession
Construction in recession
25-30% cuts to all government departments
Half if councils facing effective bankruptcy
25,000 less police
20,000 less prison officers
10,000 less border police
10,000 less medical professionals
10,000 less firefighters
25,000 less beds for mental illness
25% cuts for our disabled community
80% cuts to mobility allowance
40% of working households have no savings
60% of working households can only survive 2 months without a wage.
Increase of 50% in hate crimes
Increase of knife crime by 150%
Council home building down 90%
200k social homes lost since 2010
Zero starter homes built despite tory flagship project
1 million families on council home waiting list
36,000 teachers have left reaching
And we now have more billionaires in the UK than ever before.

Honestly do we really want this to continue? Hmm

MustardScreams · 08/12/2019 22:54

If someone reads that list and continues to vote Tory then they are just the lowest of the low.

How can anyone think they are a good person voting for devastation, just because they’re all right?

TimpoTempo · 08/12/2019 22:55

Yawn

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 22:57

You didnt answer my question in the slightest, Cendrillon (getting a touch of the Boris'?)

tell me how austerity and their economic policies have in anyway worked and why you're wanting more.

porridging · 08/12/2019 22:57

Really? @thesstinkycheeseman you agree with the policies that keep millions of children in poverty, policies that have resulted in an increase in homelessness, the bedroom tax, private companies denying disabled people help and benefits, the NHS being run into the ground... not something I’d admit to.

SingingLily · 08/12/2019 22:58

20,000 less prison officers???

That would only leave about 1800 officers to staff 117 prisons in the UK...or roughly 15 officers per establishment.

Maths really isn't your strong point, is it, Diane?

ilovetinsel · 08/12/2019 23:03

These are facts. Please don't vote conservative.

OP posts:
porridging · 08/12/2019 23:04

It was 7000 which is 7000 too many tbh. Probably as many lies as Boris has told recently, not sure his maths is all that either (or Nicky Morgan et al.)

SingingLily · 08/12/2019 23:06

OP, I left the Prison Service in 2010. There were only about 22,000 of us then.

Unless you are talking about turnover, of course.

Otherwise, there is no way the prison officer count could have reduced by 20,000. That's just nonsense.

TSSDNCOP · 08/12/2019 23:08

You understand the more threads like this, the more I will enjoy registering my Conservative vote on Thursday. Why I vote the way I do in a democracy has got the square root of fuck all to do with you.

scousadelic · 08/12/2019 23:10

Yawn!

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 23:11

Basically admitting you vote out of spite isnt a great look, TSS.
