How is it so difficult to see both sides are crap? That we the public need to hold MPs to account more, so we aren’t stuffed at Election Day?

This is like America, naming Democrats and Republicans as if it’s a slur. Maybe both sides have crap politicians! Maybe it’s on us to improve things!

Is that you Diane?

SilverySurfer · 07/12/2019 22:55

Reads opening post no doubt paid for by the Labour Party and returns to watching paint dry which is far more interesting.

It won't be the Tories who will be crying after they win the election, you had better start practicing.

HotSince82 · 07/12/2019 22:56

They don't care about any of that shit.

Boris will get Brexit done and apparently, ahem, save the economy.
Corbyn hates jews and is a terrorist symapathiser.

The end.

SpruceTree · 07/12/2019 22:57

Because I don't like Labour. They always over spend and then the Conservatives have to come in and cut services to pay off all the debts Labour got us in to. It's like a political vicious cycle.
I also can't bear Corbyn. I really can't.

HotSince82 · 07/12/2019 22:59

Exhibit A.

*TheRightHonerable

@ilovetinsel

How could I? Quite easily really...I’ll drive my nice cars to my rural polling station, stand in a line making small talk about the cold weather, then return to my pretty house to eat my M&S dinner whilst watching something narrated by David Attenborough. Maybe treat myself to a nice early night to be up for work at 6:30🏻

I may pause to congratulate myself on not voting for an anti-Semitic political illiterate because he promised me £100 in Asda vouchers and my very own unicorn 🦄

Do you honestly think that 90% of Tory voters give a crap what aggressive labour voters think? - We do not!*

I told you so!

John1971 · 07/12/2019 23:00

Just to remind you Mr.Johnson that you have 5 days in which to meet with Mr.Neil. Alternatively you could send your friend Mr. Rees Mogg (if you can find him).

lightbulbshade · 07/12/2019 23:00

I'm not anti labour but I'm certainly anti corbyn. 😴

HotSince82 · 07/12/2019 23:01

I actually admire your candour

TheRightHonerable

I admire nothing else, mind you.

Mintjulia · 07/12/2019 23:02

Thank god we have secret ballots in the uk.

Can you imagine the levels of bullying and spite if some people were given free rein in real life, rather than just on line!

John1971 · 07/12/2019 23:02

Yes that's right. Vote instead for Mr.Johnson - the Prime Minister who can hardly string a sentence together.

Thestinkycheeseman · 07/12/2019 23:04

@John1971 at least he has an opinion.
Unlike jezza , who must have a arse full of splinters

OhTheRoses · 07/12/2019 23:05

Because my father was Jewish.
Because I want Brexit done.
Because we can't spend more money than the economy can sustain.
Because Corbyn has communist principles.
Because I have lived through the impacts of Wilson, Callaghan and BLIAR.

John1971 · 07/12/2019 23:09

Because you want people of this country to have another 10 years of austerity

wherearemychickens · 07/12/2019 23:10

Boris Johnson - the Prime Minister who lies as easily as breathing, has conspired to beat up a colleague, is on record being racist and misogynistic, is suppressing a report on Russian involvement in our democracy, has shut down Parliament to avoid scrutiny, avoided two of the hustings in his own constituency never mind Andrew Neil, and doesn't know the details of his own deal - or, if he does know them, is lying about them?

Sigh.

wherearemychickens · 07/12/2019 23:12

I wouldn't leave him in charge of my toaster, let alone my children, or the country's future.

Because Tory voters don't care about food banks, the disabled or the homeless.

Thestinkycheeseman · 07/12/2019 23:19

Because I don't believe in any policy or bullshit they say.
They bankrupt the country last time and I can't see it being different this time.
I want a conservative majority.

brightonroc · 07/12/2019 23:22

There's some really ugly comments on this thread.

I'm pretty on the fence politics wise but it does always seem like the conservative voters come out on top in terms of general vileness on posts like this. I also read somewhere that they have smaller brains, perhaps it's all linked??

Thestinkycheeseman · 07/12/2019 23:25

Because labour voters refuse to believe other people don't fall at the feet of Jeremy.

wherearemychickens · 07/12/2019 23:25

Labour didn't bankrupt the country - the US mortgage market & the banks did.

www.economicshelp.org/blog/14006/economics/can-labour-be-blamed-for-the-economic-crisis/

Thestinkycheeseman · 07/12/2019 23:25

Still don't care.
They must of been busy looking for WOMD

wherearemychickens · 07/12/2019 23:28

And austerity hasn't helped turn our debt situation around:

fullfact.org/economy/labour-and-conservative-records-national-debt/

It's worse now than it was in 2010.
