I hope it’s not true with everything that’s going on with Prince Andrew. Anyone else heard this?

She can't possibly be dead, I've just seen her coming out of Pizza
Express in Woking.

SnorkMaiden81 · 02/12/2019 00:22

Although....can we just make sure Olivia Coleman is free, just in case.

TheCraicDealer · 02/12/2019 00:22

DH is in the army, heard nowt because it's fucking nonsense. That might be because whoever wrote the original WhatsApp message is using his penis to type, which obviously causes some delay.

I think the Queen is just fine. She was photographed out riding last week and looked perfectly well. I do wonder why Peter Kay rumours circulate so much. Poor bloke, it must be very disconcerting to read!

Squigean · 02/12/2019 00:32

53rdWay: "Is it just the guards who need to start packing 2 weeks worth of underwear, or is that something we all need to do? Royal protocol and all?"

Yes, even if you're only going to the shops. Also do not forget cities fornstand down. That's important.

AtiaoftheJulii · 02/12/2019 00:37

A couple of weeks ago, my daughter told me Prince Philip had died and it would be announced at 8 o'clock the next morning. Must be true, because someone on her train had just told her it. Gibbo perhaps.

Also, a PP said the Queen would abdicate and Charles would become Regent - he'd just be King, unless he was stepping in because the Queen involuntarily couldn't do the job, surely? So annoying when rumours are inaccurate as well as not true.

ImmortalityMyDarlings · 02/12/2019 00:39

The WhatsApp group photo.... come on... you can see what it is 😂

NoHummus · 02/12/2019 00:42

Jesus, the poor Queen. Imagine waking up to find that social media has been awash with rumours of your death again.

Bouledeneige · 02/12/2019 00:47

Would the election be delayed if she did?

PurpleDaisies · 02/12/2019 00:47

Why would it?

Squigean · 02/12/2019 00:51

It's happened before though hasn't it? I've a feeling I've read before posters confidently wrtting they know because their cousin's friend's sister's hairdresser's husband works in the palace told them and that it will be announced tomorrow at 9.30.

HermioneMakepeace · 02/12/2019 00:51

Ahem, about the penis avatar... I used to work for the government on a secret project which is finished now (I was only a secretary, so NOT a stealth brag, I promise). We had a few army guys on loan and one of the guys belonged to a group along with his army colleagues. They used to draw penises on each other's stuff as a prank, like bottoms of cups, etc. Then they'd say, "you've been cocked'. These were VERY senior army officials, believe it or not. The cock was like their unofficial emblem. I am wondering if this WhatsApp group is them Grin.

HermioneMakepeace · 02/12/2019 00:53

PS: I don't think the queen is dead and some of the comments on this thread are hilarious Grin.

Butterymuffin · 02/12/2019 00:55

It's not true, because the likes of Gibbo and Ricey won't be the first to know Grin But it has made me think that it would be a right headache if it happened now. That Guardian article says:
Parliament will gather. If possible, both houses will sit within hours of the monarch’s death.
That can't happen right now. It would certainly disrupt the election, too. Campaigning would have to be put on hold and the funeral plans might be delayed.

Strokethefurrywall · 02/12/2019 00:55

@Pogmella - proper made me laugh! I look forward to being served an appropriately somberly stenciled foamy latte!

notsodimwit · 02/12/2019 00:59

Just woke up for a wee Grin and saw this whilst checking in! Hope it's not true Sad on TV the other week she looks so little and frail Flowers

My husband gives orders over WhatsApp. It's a lot easier than phoning 30 odd men individually.

Sounds like my husband trying to organise his weekly game of fives 🤦🏻‍♀️

spatchcock · 02/12/2019 01:19

"My husband gives orders over WhatsApp. It's a lot easier than phoning 30 odd men individually."

Mmhmm. I always give orders over WhatsApp too.

"Into yr tanks, pls."
"Fire at will. x"
"at ease boys lol"

VanyaHargreeves · 02/12/2019 01:20

For a forum majority populated by intelligent women the level of A MAN HAS TOLD ME HIS OPINION AND THEREFORE going on on this thread is astounding

louise5754 · 02/12/2019 01:28

As in where and when to meet or if there is a change if plan. Obviously not when he's not in the same room.

stupidtabloidheadlines · 02/12/2019 01:52

@spatchcock I proper laughed "into ur tanks pls"

I trust you also use the special lingo that includes aubergines and stuff.

tobee · 02/12/2019 02:09

These rumours always seem to fly when the country is feeling a bit odd and uncertain ime.

TheNameGames · 02/12/2019 02:14

I randomly watched a video on YouTube yesterday about the protocol for what happens when the queen dies so if she has that’s going to be a bit strange
