In my job I would have heard by now.

And I haven’t heard a thing. DH is on nights tonight and surely he would have heard but he hasn’t. He drives lorries for John Lewis.

Well, personally I’m delighted that Gibbo, Burnsy and Cheeks get to know first. And to imagine them packing all those socks and pants for a fortnight’s stay somewhere with no laundry facilities. It’s the utterly convincing detail that grips me...

I haven't heard anything either and I'm a SAHM with a very active WhatsApp group with some of the other local SAHMs. One of them is the second biggest gossip in the village, first biggest being Brenda from the Post Office. I'm also in the residents group on FB and Brenda is a member of that but hasn't posted anything about it.

DH hasn't heard anything. Mainly because he's asleep and couldn't give a shit. I might wake him up and ask him.
