Meet my foster kitty

This is my foster kitty. Her owners are moving and won’t take her with them or find suitable place that accepts animals.

They have also let her have three litters of kittens by the age of two and it looks like she is having a fourth.

So she has come to live with me, the three chips children and sidecat. She’s off to the vets on Monday to confirm if she is or not. If she is she will be spayed as soon as recommended after kittens. If not she will be spayed ASAP.

After initial grumps from SideCat at the very indecency of us bringing another cat into the house, SideGirlCat has cosied up on middle chips bed and gone to sleep having been lovingly tucked in

Still no signs of the other kittens yet. I’ve been reading and it can take up to 24 hours for them all to be born. She’s been a good mummy feeding them and OMG they are so gorgeous

One pure black and one black and white

Hope it all goes well. The mama cat that gave birth at my house had one about 7 pm, one at 10 pm and two more between 2 and 4 am. An advantage of my 'need a piss every 2 hours in the night' bladder was that I could check on her as I was up anyway.

She also moved them all between those times from where she had them to another box I'd put out for her.

They are gorgeous! Well done mumma kitty. Hope everything goes smoothly for you op.

Oh, they are gorgeous! Hope it all goes well. Our 'foster' black and white has been with us for 18 months now. I want another cat but when the right rescue comes on the scene it will happen.

OhMs they start tiny and cute then they grow into THIS

I am fairly sure our gorgeous male panther was once a teeny kitten (maybe)

He's a classic moggie ( Domestic Short Hair -he says) from Cat Protection League . And his sister (who is also jet black) is bigger than him

I'm not sure if there are. Her belly is soft but it could be hiding. We will see

Side husband has just rolled his eyes and said we are not keeping the kittens.

Those kittens will have much better lives for your taking in their mother, making sure they are neutered and spayed, and Mum, too.

Still haven't caught up with rest of thread but has anyone recommended asking MN to move thread to The Litter Tray? Just because cat specialists galore there!
