Meet my foster kitty

This is my foster kitty. Her owners are moving and won’t take her with them or find suitable place that accepts animals.

They have also let her have three litters of kittens by the age of two and it looks like she is having a fourth.

So she has come to live with me, the three chips children and sidecat. She’s off to the vets on Monday to confirm if she is or not. If she is she will be spayed as soon as recommended after kittens. If not she will be spayed ASAP.

After initial grumps from SideCat at the very indecency of us bringing another cat into the house, SideGirlCat has cosied up on middle chips bed and gone to sleep having been lovingly tucked in

That's a lovely pic of the 3 kittens together.
And your story from the start makes even better.

Mum and babies.

She's settling with them in the wardrobe. All three are feeding well

Foster kitty and babies have been moved into the girls room now for safety. She tried to bring a kitten downstairs and sidecat went to see what was making the noise and she went for him.

She is very jumpy with noises and the tumble drier in my room. Obviously scared her

So she's in with the girls and a lot happier.

It was a rather dramatic birthday morning!

Ah op, foster kitty landed on her feet when she met you! The set up sounds great. Poor old sidecat though.

Oh very good names.

OhMsBeliever · 19/11/2019 19:39

I have twin boys (human children, not kittens unfortunately Grin) and if they had been girls they would have been Freya and Astrid.

So I think you should send me your kittens. Grin

OhShitHappenedToMe · 19/11/2019 23:25

Thanks for the update. When I was 8 I had to do a project for my parents to prove I was capable of adopting one of neighbour cat's kittens. I was successful and got her when she was 8 weeks, however I couldn't convince my parents she was up the duff at less than 6 months (they thought too young and think a bit embarrassed at extent of my knowledge of biology; they MADE me do the project!). She made no sign of nesting so I made her a blanket box in an alcove in the dining room. I woke up one day to find she'd broken her waters on my pillow; whilst my head was on it and proceeded to give birth to five, beautiful kittens. I conceded my bed for a few weeks and she was the best mother. I was distraught when she had to be euthanasied at 14. She was lovely.
