Meet my foster kitty

This is my foster kitty. Her owners are moving and won’t take her with them or find suitable place that accepts animals.

They have also let her have three litters of kittens by the age of two and it looks like she is having a fourth.

So she has come to live with me, the three chips children and sidecat. She’s off to the vets on Monday to confirm if she is or not. If she is she will be spayed as soon as recommended after kittens. If not she will be spayed ASAP.

After initial grumps from SideCat at the very indecency of us bringing another cat into the house, SideGirlCat has cosied up on middle chips bed and gone to sleep having been lovingly tucked in

We got a rescue dog years back who surprised us by having pups 😍

Weeelll! You never know, she might. I think it's because it was out of the way and quiet.

She’s currently lay in front of my tumble drier (in my bedroom) and giving off little groany meows every now and then

Probably another me being over excited but leaving her be and watching tv in bed keeping everything crossed!

If she is I hope it all goes well as dh is out and it’s a f9 gale over here at the moment!

Here's one of my current group of beautiful foster kitties for the tuxedo fans on this thread. She's been with us a few months but decided to disappear when a potential new family came to meet her and they chose another foster kitten who did a good job of saying hello.

@barbaraofseville obviously she just wants to stay with you

I think she does, DP wants to keep her too and he keeps jokingly saying that he'll buy me her and her brother for Christmas.

But we've kept three of the foster kittens we've had up to now and I'm being hardline and saying no more.

Still no kittens. She’s a bit unsettled by the wind over here at the moment as we are at a f9/f10

She has however come down and sat next to the box SideCat is sat in with no hissing or growling which is major progress!

Neither of them look particularly amused though.

Nope no signs but she just seems to keep getting a bigger belly!! By the estimate she is due tomorrow. I think she will wait till we are all back at school and work and have them then 🙄

Make sure to shut drawers! I knew someone whose cat climbed into the chest of drawers and gave birth on the clothes.

Poor little thing , it's probably the only quiet times she has , it sounds like she's spent most of her adult life looking after kittens .

Hi all

Not a lot to update really. Fosterkitty is getting bigger by the day. She is putting on weight elsewhere which is good and she is getting friendlier to me and the girls

At the moment we keep her in our bedroom
Whilst we are out as she is still swiping at side cat but she has the run of the place otherwise. Vet has said it’s just a waiting game but the longer it takes the better our chances of getting more weight onto her

I’ll try and get a picture of her today to share with you. I promise that when she has them there will be many many photos!!
