I'm going to start with High Street Kensington. A classic start, if I do say so myself.

OP posts:
ForalltheSaints · 17/10/2019 18:16

A short journey via the London Overground that goes to Norwood Junction.

crustycrab · 17/10/2019 19:03

Anerley

AgathaMystery · 17/10/2019 19:43

DIY enthusiasts unite! Penge West (via Wickes & Homebase)

ForalltheSaints · 17/10/2019 21:32

I think we better move closer to civilisation (north of the river) and go to London Bridge.

LonginesPrime · 18/10/2019 00:02

Saints, I'm not sure which river you're referring to, but I vote we also move north of the Thames to Angel.

DadDadDad · 18/10/2019 11:53

Longines - I parsed Saints as saying that civilisation in north of the river Thames (how very dare she? I grew up in SE suburb) and that she was taking closer to that by going to London Bridge - thus enabling you to cross over.

Just to prove that there are beacons of civilisation south of the river, I'll take us to Kew Gardens.

EmpressLesbianInChair · 18/10/2019 13:48

Lovely move. I’ll follow on with Twickenham.

ForalltheSaints · 18/10/2019 21:59

Although the Rugby world cup continues tomorrow and Twickenham would be a good place to be, I move on around the loop using the South Western Railway rule to Kew Bridge.

WalkingInTheAir13 · 19/10/2019 07:55

I can see the game veering towards a triple salko so I have to smartly step in with Chalk Farm.

ForalltheSaints · 19/10/2019 11:41

I make another short move and hope the lifts are working OK at Belsize Park.

IrenetheQuaint · 19/10/2019 20:28

Oh to the devil with it - I'm sick of being sensible and am going to go all out to

Hampstead

DadDadDad · 19/10/2019 20:40

Blimey, Irene, did you just pivot a rediagonalised reverse shunt one move after a hyper-critical / perforating boundary case, invoking the little-used 1971 Canberra interpretation... on a Saturday?! If that's the devil, then I'm shaking at the genius he can unleash. Amazing.

I can only offer this weak response: Royal Oak.

ForalltheSaints · 20/10/2019 08:11

I assume the Crossrail rule was used? Or maybe the walking interchanges one? Interesting use whichever one, as Royal Oak is rarely played since the 1996 tournament where all sorts of arguments ensued.

Another short move to Westbourne Park.

MyNightWithMaud · 20/10/2019 18:54

I know this move fell out of favour in 2014, after that unfortunate incident involving the Colonel, the chargé d’affaires and the mandolin at the Warsaw heats, but I’m going to play an elongated shift to

Lancaster Gate

ForalltheSaints · 20/10/2019 21:06

I was absent from the Warsaw heats so missed that incident. I'll move to Tottenham Court Road therefore.

MyNightWithMaud · 20/10/2019 22:35

We noted you weren’t there, Saints. No coincidence that you and the Bishop were spotted at Manchester airport boarding a Club 18-30 (ahem) flight to Benidorm. Anyway

Warren Street

AgathaMystery · 20/10/2019 23:00

I'm ending my self imposed typo hiatus.

We are dangerously close to YOU KNOW WHERE so I'm going to launch a Fitzrovia pivot to Euston

ForalltheSaints · 21/10/2019 07:59

I think we need to move a bit further away and the move to the station with the long escalator, Angel should help.

The bishop and I were acting as a decoy to those going to Santiago de Compostela. It was a long train ride across Spain to get there.

MyNightWithMaud · 22/10/2019 15:09

Hmm. That’s quite a conundrum you’ve set us, Saints. I think I can solve it by a swift chassée to

Olympia

ForalltheSaints · 23/10/2019 18:36

A move this morning was stopped by a broken down train, as announced on the television local news. Now all fixed so I can move to West Brompton.

MyNightWithMaud · 23/10/2019 22:23

Deftly done, Saints. You've emboldened me so I'll try a longitudinal shank to

Shepherd's Bush Market

ForalltheSaints · 25/10/2019 18:18

For the first time in any MC game I have ever played, let's move to Wood Lane.

TakeMeToYourLiar · 25/10/2019 18:20

Risky move for a new player, but I'm going Mill Hill East

DadDadDad · 29/10/2019 10:43

I can see why no-one's played for the last few days, as it's obvious what will come after this move. I'm happy to be the fall guy.

Paddington

and as ForalltheSaints pointed out on 16 October, if no-one plays for 24 hours, then I'll be back to claim it....

MyNightWithMaud · 29/10/2019 18:51

Oh, D to the power of 3, that’s a very sneaky play so close to payday. I’ll move us on with a lateral jag to

Wandsworth Common
