Shiny new thread, continuing from here

@AwkwardSquad - oat molasses cookies sound relevant to my interests...

AwkwardSquad · 02/10/2019 21:34

@onlyhereforthefood it’s an adapted Good Food recipe, really easy www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1127645/oat-biscuits

Just swap the golden syrup for molasses and add a good teaspoonful of ground ginger.

They were nice @AwkwardSquad, I’ve been wanting to make them since the poster (I can’t remember who, sorry!) posted about them! I would say they were a bit like nice onion rings in flavour and went well with the rest of what we had.

I think it would be interesting if at the end people put whether they are happy with their weight (no need to say what it is) or whether they think they would like to gain or lose. Myself, I am a scrawny old bird and looking at what I eat I can see why, That's not stealth boasting as I think I might look younger if I was a stone heavier.

Nuttyaboutnutella · 04/10/2019 19:42

B: natural yoghurt with blueberries and granola
L: cheese and red onion toastie, salad. Plum crumble and custard
D: brinner (sausage, bacon, egg, beans, plum tomatoes, hash brown)

Second account I'm 9st exactly, and a size 10. Before getting pregnant with my daughter a year ago, I was a 11st7 and a size 14. Lost approximately 2 stone since she was born (4 months old) but started loosing a little at the end of my pregnancy. Haven't been this Weight/size since before I had my eldest. I'm very happy with my weight and don't want to lose any more so trying to maintain now.

onlyhereforthefood · 04/10/2019 20:36

@secondaccount I'm borderline underweight and am actually trying to gain a few kg prior to ttc, I'm mostly happy but have struggled with anorexia in the past, and struggle with eating during the day so rely on dense evening snacks...I'm a million miles away from where I was though in the best way!

B- protein porridge pot
S- nectarine
L- itsu katsu instant noodle pot
S- popchips
S2- vanilla skyr yoghurt
D- 1/2 aldi bbq chicken pizza and salad
S- white chocolate magnum, slice toast and pb, handful of haribo sweets

Phycadelicsilhouette · 04/10/2019 20:43

@lastqueenofscotland the African peanut stew sounds great! What’s in it?

My food diary today has been...

Breakfast - 2 x egg on toast

Lunch - sushi and Greek yogurt with blueberries

Dinner - a big plate of scrambled eggs on toast

(Had a lot of eggs that needed using)

Snacks - (unusually large amount today, I’ve been starving!) a banana, a blueberry nutrigrain bar, sesame snaps and a graze honey sesame snack pot.

@secondaccount I have no idea what I weigh, I have in the past had a very unhealthy relationship with my body and with food. Last time I weighed myself I was 8 stone 3 (a while ago now) but I would imagine I’m around 10 stone now and allot happier for it. I’m a size 10.

My heaviest weight was around 8 years ago when I was around 16 stone and my lowest is under 8. I am happy with my current size and the way I feel so weight is irrelevant to me.
