Shiny new thread, continuing from here

A diary thread for our daily meals, to record, share, glean menu inspiration and chat, but no judging each other’s food choices.

IJumped it's good that you managed to eat some pasta! Roll on the crisp sandwich!
I outdid myself in greed yesterday:
B: 5am, fruit and fibre, banana and milk, toasted bagel with marmite, black coffee; 8am, toast and marmite, black coffee.
Mid-morning: small cappuccino, slice of fruit loaf toasted with butter.
L: leftover dhal, cauliflower and nan, lime pickle.
Supper: cod and haricot stew, Savoy cabbage, couple of bits of sourdough baguette. Plum crumble and cream, tea, two Hotel Chocolat milk chocolate covered hazelnuts (gift from supper guests, so good!).

Phycadelicsilhouette · 24/10/2019 07:38

@IJumpedAboardAPirateShip wishing you a speedy crisp sandwich recovery, I hope it’s not too long before you can eat solid foods again! (The pistachio ice cream sounds delicious though!)

@Bloodybridget your food diary sounds delicious! I hope you have another good food day today!

AwkwardSquad · 24/10/2019 07:40

BloodyBridget that all sounds delicious and will hopefully give you some energy to carry you though your final round of chemo - wishing you strength and fortitude!

@mogloveseggs I absolutely love Canarian potatoes! Had them once, years ago, and never knew the name of them but now I’ve discovered it it’s definitely on my meal plans for next week! Thank you!

@AwkwardSquad I really did read it that you had eaten the roll and lemon curd with the meal! ConfusedBlush

@onlyhereforthefood the soup sounds great! I can’t wait for pumpkin goodies during the week, pepitas are my favourite!
