@IJumpedAboardAPirateShip sorry to see you’ve had to have surgery and stuck to a liquid diet! I hope things are starting to feel better and you can get back to a normal diet again soon!

@AwkwardSquad your food sounds delicious as always! And thank you very much for the thought of where I’d been. I had just been feeling very low and was also adjusting to the new job (not such great timing for the two to coincide!) but am feeling back to myself again now so will be posting daily again I’m sure!

Yesterday
B - 2 cups of coffee & oat milk, protein bar
S- Mozzarella with sweet chilli jam
(Long walk)
L - Pub lunch : chicken burger with sweet potato fries
S - Mini magnum ice cream stick
D - Satay halloumi, courgette gratin and rice. 2 chocolate truffles for dessert
S - 2 Ryvita crackerbread with Philadelphia cheese and cucumber

Thanks for enquiry, I am eating like a horse and enjoying nearly everything now, have my last chemo scheduled for this coming Friday so will have a yucky period after that, but am so looking forward to having the treatment behind me!
Yes the brownies are finished! But I made gingerbread for a friend's birthday do last night and she sent us home with some . .

Today’s food - been quite greedy today but hey, it’s Sunday and it’s raining

B - melon, oat molasses cookie
L - hummus with lots of beetroot, apple, carrot, cucumber, baby kale, olives
Three small pieces of beetroot brownie (and some of the cake batter); slice of walnut bread and butter
D - pea and feta frittata with oven potatoes and salads; grapes, two oat molasses cookies

B: porridge with blueberries, hazelnuts & honey
L: turkey and cranberry toastie, chocolate cake
Packet of crisps mid afternoon after deep cleaning
D: prawn jalfrezi, rice, poppadoms and mango chutney. Mouthful of yoghurt as curry nearly blew my head off 😂

Will have some cheese and biscuits later

Tea and water to drink throughout the day, small glass of red wine with dinner

B- slice of toast with marmite
S- couple of samples of cake at a wedding fair
L- low cal ham salad sandwich and carrot sticks (sainsburys meal deal grabbed before next mission!)
S- pop chips
D- chicken casserole, root vegetable mash, mixed greens
S- not sure yet, I think I just want to inhale as many hobnobs as possible.

Haven't had the best day food wise today:
B - scrambled eggs, hash brown, Vogel 's with cherry and brandy jam - was supposed to be saving the jam for baking but "somehow" ended up opening it...
L - nothing, as late breakfast
S - cappuccino, 2 party rings
D - steak and ale pie, chips, peas, sweetcorn

No breakfast,
Lunch was sticky lemon chicken, noodles & sugar snaps & broccoli, followed by apple crumble
Tea was a tuna sandwich, raspberries, grapes and 2 digestives.

Today I’ve had...

Breakfast - 2 x scrambled eggs on 2 x seeded toast, coffee and fresh orange.

Lunch - 2 rich tea biscuits and a banana with a coffee (wanted to be really hungry for dinner!)

Dinner - chicken roast dinner cooked by a friend with... roast chicken, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, swede, broccoli, carrots, peas and Yorkshire puddings (and gravy) and dessert was a slice of lemon cake and a slice of red velvet cake (both half sizes so it only made 1 slice Cake)

B: insipid shop bought soup (think it was supposed to be Thai butternut squash?
L: coconut ice cream
S: thick-enough-to-eat-with-spoon mango, nut butter and spinach smoothie
D: mashed potato, vegan cheese and hummus, vitamin water

So prob back up to normal calorie amounts. Need to be careful as I’m not moving at all that this doesn’t end up meaning I put weight bloody on!

D - Mediterranean-style fish stew with two small slices walnut bread; warm beetroot brownie with chocolate ginger ice cream (bliss)
Snack - four squares of plain chocolate and some grapes

Breakfast - coffee.

Lunch - Greek yogurt, granola, raspberries and honey.

Dinner - Cheese toastie with basil and tomato soup and an iced coffee.

Dessert - caramelised orange and chocolate cake with daim bar ice cream.

Snacks - a packet of pork scratchings warmed up with some apple sauce.

IJumped hope you are getting more sleep and glad to know you are in a different time zone, not necessarily awake all night!
Yesterday I ate:
B: granola, prunes, banana, yogurt. Slice of toast and marmite, black coffee.
Mid-morning: black coffee, apple Danish.
L: sweetcorn cobbette, root veg soup, bread.
Mid-afternoon: tea, chocolate biscuit.
Supper: dhal with sweet potato and butternut squash, spicy roast cauliflower, brown rice, lime pickle and yoghurt. Tea and two of those Swedish ginger biscuits.
Have just been up having tea and marmite on toast.

Have been looking up anti inflammatory recipes in the hope of speeding recovery

B: smoothie bowl of mango, matcha, almond milk, almond butter and avocado
L: mashed potato and hummus and pesto
S: turmeric latte
D: made myself a mushroom soup with loads of leftovers - I’m stuffed!

DP and I went out for dinner so I had:

Was it @IJumpedAboardAPirateShip who mentioned scrambled tofu a while back? Thank you, whoever it was, just made some for dinner and it was really good.

B - muesli, flaxseed, stewed apple, yoghurt
L - the last little portion of frittata with salad bits; melon
D - scrambled tofu and tenderstem broccoli (will serve it wth brown rice as well next time, i think); sliced apple and two oatcakes with peanut butter
Snack - Doisy and Dom hazelnut butter cup
