Favourite biccies are occasionally discussed on here but there must be some that a lot of folk don't particularly care for, or are taste-divisive. Mine are:

Digestives. Too dry and bland.
Rich Tea. Not much better than Digestives.
Jammy Dodgers. Never liked them - too soft and over-sweet.
Garibaldi. Chewy dead flies.
Custard Cream. Never got the appeal.
Oreos. As per Custard Cream but much worse. They remind me of dog biscuits.

I am prepared to be denounced as a heretic but so be it BiscuitBiscuitBiscuit.

The king of biscuits is a Tunnocks caramel log.

Cookies are just one big disappointment, always soggy and chewy instead of crispy.

Lemon Puffs

Ooh - those new(ish) chocolate-covered digestive 'thins' - like cardboard. Love the real ones.

Oreos are disgusting. Other than that, there isn't a biscuit in the world that I don't like.

ThePolishWombat · 13/09/2019 07:11

Speaking of Gold Bars......what the fuck is that weird, yellow, sort-of-chocolate-but-not abomination they are covered with?!! Confused
Bleuurrggghhhhhh.

MerryMarigold · 13/09/2019 07:14

Lots of Oreos here and I have to agree. Never saw the attraction. They don't taste of chocolate and so over sweet.

I used to hate malted milk till I started dipping in coffee. Still hate Rich tea. They're not rich!

Hate all wafers including Blue Riband.

Don't much care for plain digestives unless it's at the bottom of a cheesecake.

I love choco Leibniz dark choc, dark choc digestives, the Bahlsen sandwich with real chocolate in between, fox crunch creams.

ExpletiveDelighted · 13/09/2019 07:15

I hate Oreos too, no taste to them at all. I also hate Kit-Kats

Egghead68 · 13/09/2019 07:16

Oatcakes are OK.

sawyersfishbiscuits · 13/09/2019 07:19

Bourbons - what a waste of time. Looking like they'll taste all lovely and chocolatey and really taste if cardboard dipped into n weak cocoa! They should be ashamed of themselves.

otterturk · 13/09/2019 07:21

YABU for using the term "biccies"

TwentyEight12 · 13/09/2019 07:26

I will happily partake in any kind of biscuit eating as long as said biscuit is not stale.

Biting into any kind of stale biscuit is a tastebud changing experience and not for the better.

Some people have listed Twix on this thread.

Is Twix classified as a biscuit or confectionery though?

Jesaminecollins · 13/09/2019 07:28

Fig Rolls Yuk!

I don't really love or hate any biscuits and I'll eat any with a cup of tea. it I've never understood the appeal of jammy Dodgers, they taste dry to me.

ScreamingValenta · 13/09/2019 07:29

There are a few I like - digestives, chocolate chip cookies, bourbons - and that's about it. I'm not really a biscuit person - I prefer Cake.

WildRosie · 13/09/2019 07:39

otterturk. Apologies for the use of 'biccies'. It's an old Beano - Bash Street Kids thing.

I wonder if sales of pink wafers, lemon puffs, oreos, jammy dodgers and so on will be affected this weekend ?

DieCryHate · 13/09/2019 07:42

Jammie dodgers are like the expensive cake slices you get at garden centres. All style no substance. Look like they'll be delicious but just overly sweet.

Jesaminecollins · 13/09/2019 07:42

These are my favorite I am eating one now - yum!

Wagon wheels
Tunnocks tea cakes

Birdie5577 · 13/09/2019 07:59

Custard creams are the devil's invention Confused

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/09/2019 08:16

Your list is the same as mine almost.
Although custard creams are my favourites and I can take or leave jammy dodgers. Also don’t like.
Party rings. Although they’re very pretty looking, aren’t they. If you can describe a biscuit as pretty, that is
Nice or is it Neice
Coconut rings
Those biscuits with a cow stamped on

Deathraystare · 13/09/2019 08:22

Oreos and bourbon biscuits - vile vile vile.

SteamedPotatoes · 13/09/2019 08:33

Bourbons & penguins !

dayslikethese1 · 13/09/2019 12:25

I KNEW loads of ppl would say fig rolls, think I'm the only person in the world who loves them (eating a whole pack is always a bad idea though unless you enjoy being on the toilet) Grin

Userwhatevernumber · 13/09/2019 12:26

Nice biscuits

They are not nice

ScreamingValenta · 13/09/2019 12:32

I quite like fig rolls, actually, but I don't class them in my head as biscuits because they're too soft.
