Favourite biccies are occasionally discussed on here but there must be some that a lot of folk don't particularly care for, or are taste-divisive. Mine are:

Digestives. Too dry and bland.
Rich Tea. Not much better than Digestives.
Jammy Dodgers. Never liked them - too soft and over-sweet.
Garibaldi. Chewy dead flies.
Custard Cream. Never got the appeal.
Oreos. As per Custard Cream but much worse. They remind me of dog biscuits.

I am prepared to be denounced as a heretic but so be it BiscuitBiscuitBiscuit.

@golddustwomen I cannot stand the stuff. When I was in primary school, we used to have shortbread biscuits with banana milkshake for pudding every couple of weeks and the combination used to make me heave. We knew when we were getting it for pudding as we weren't allowed a tumbler of water with our meal because "you're having your drink as part of your pudding".
Those were the days when I would cry rather than eat that fucking biscuit which was awfully claggy and tasteless.

Forgot about fig rolls. The Devil himself makes those in his very own kitchen. Yuck, but perhaps a good constipation cure. Bourbons, I can take it leave. Those of us the wrong side of forty might remember a time when Penguins had a chocolate flavour coating rather than chocolate. It didn't last, but Wagon Wheels are still similarly coated. Eww.

Ginger nuts
Maryland Cookies

happyasasandboy · 12/09/2019 20:17

Bourbon, taste like cheap chocolate
Chocolate cookies, although I love chocolate chip cookies
Fig rolls are hideous

AnyFucker · 12/09/2019 20:19

Lemon puffs
Pink wafers
Rich Tea

Doilooklikeatourist · 12/09/2019 20:20

Digestives , always taste a bit meaty , don’t know why
Nice . No , they’re not
Rich Tea
Jammy dodgers
Give me a Viennese finger or a dark Chocolate Hobnob please

palahvah · 12/09/2019 20:20

Oreos. Just a bit sickly.
Chocolate bourbons - I love chocolate but these are tasteless
Nice biscuits - yuck
Wafers - pink air
Party rings - meh

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 12/09/2019 20:21

Garibaldi's
Oreos
Fig rolls
Digestives without chocolate are boring

LemonMousse · 12/09/2019 20:21

Oreos - just nasty
Penguins - not 'proper' chocolate
Oaty hobnobby malarkeys - chokey
Digestives - boring
Rich tea - likewise

Fig rolls - naice
Shortbread - excellent for hangovers with a cup of tea & two paracetomol
Clubs - ok (but I still yearn for the plain chocolate ones of the 70s)

crummyusername · 12/09/2019 20:22

I love custard creams. Maybe that’s just me then.

TheRLodger · 12/09/2019 20:24

Bourbons - I want them to taste of chocolate
Oreos
Rich tea

DramaAlpaca · 12/09/2019 20:25

I don't really like biscuits much & never buy them. I wouldn't say no to a Rich Tea to dunk in a cuppa, but that's all.

The ones I really detest are fig rolls. I still remember the first, and only, time I tried one as a child. It was so disgusting I wanted to spit it out, but didn't dare. Urrgh.

ToftheB · 12/09/2019 20:25

I can't believe people are saying hobnobs - wtf is wrong with you?

However, I can do without kitkats, jammy dodgers, rich tea and bourbons.

Rachelover60 · 12/09/2019 20:26

I don't like anything with coconut or dead fly biscuits.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 12/09/2019 20:27

There’s something wrong with you people if you don’t like digestives, rich tea and hon nobs Shock Also, fig rolls are actual fruit Wink
I always like the idea of Oreos but they’re so disappointing

BobbinThreadbare123 · 12/09/2019 20:28

Horrible:
Custard creams
Malted milks
Penguins
Blue Riband

Dry, the lot of them!
Give me a delicious choccie Hobnob or a Kitkat any day.

SoftBlocks · 12/09/2019 20:29

Malted Milk are horrible.

DontCallMeShitley · 12/09/2019 20:30

I don't like anything with palm oil, which limits my choice considerably as there are very few without it.

I buy Sainsburys ones, there are a few of them that are made with butter and no palm oil. Avoid chocolate ones as I prefer milk choc and it has palm oil in. Add that to the palm oil in the biscuit and you have something truly foul.

AuntieMarys · 12/09/2019 20:32

I don't like biscuits at all. Too claggy.

confusedandemployed · 12/09/2019 20:33

I wouldn't care if I never ate another biscuit. Savoury goods are the secret to my waistline.

CocoLoco87 · 12/09/2019 20:34

If I wasn't already in my PJ's I'd have to go out and buy wagon wheels. What a classic! Winner every time. I'd be hard pressed to choose a favourite out of wagon wheels and tea cakes 🤔 (the marshmallow ones, not the weird bread roll things)

Leftielefterson · 12/09/2019 20:34

Fig rolls
Rich tea - makes me want to dry wretch at the very thought
Penguins
Anything wafer based - more dry wrenching

Tbh I really don’t love a biscuit. I don’t mind one dipped in tea but really I’m not a fan.
