How will the queen avoid being damaged by this and the other royals

Whosorrynow · 18/08/2019 10:15

Woah!😲😱🙀
Oh Andy, oh Queenie, how is one ever going to wriggle out of THIS???

CarolDanvers · 18/08/2019 11:02

Whatever you think about the DM, they go where others will not and that's why I will always read it.

Whosorrynow · 18/08/2019 11:09

so f funny and so very damning to see randy Andy peeping out behind the door like that, a royal Prince sniggering and skulking in the paedophile mansion
I wonder who made that recording, surely the daily mail story is just a teaser, a hint that there's plenty more material ready to spell out
I wonder who else is quaking in their boots now.....

Whosorrynow · 18/08/2019 11:12

Even if all he did was a little adolescent breast cupping he was still there reveling in the party atmosphere enjoying the entertaining spectacle of the humiliation and destruction of young girls

Jsmith99 · 18/08/2019 11:49

I disagree fundamentally with the DM’s political views in almost every way, but I agree that it is important to have one big media organisation that is prepared to take risks and cover stories and publish evidence which others are too timid, or too squeamish or too PC to touch.

bananasandwicheseveryday · 18/08/2019 11:56

Does anyone else enjoy the irony in the story about the Duchess of York having to leave Balmoral in a hurry when Philip turned up because apparently he refuses to be in the same room due to the embarrassment she brought on the RF? I wonder if he applies the same principle to his son?

PerkingFaintly · 18/08/2019 12:20

Including completely making shit up, like the story that Amanda Know had been found guilty. Fine to have two stories ready to print; not fine to include fictional quotes reacting to a fictional verdict. www.theguardian.com/media/greenslade/2011/dec/09/pcc-dailymail

The DM's business model is to print what will sell papers/webviews, as long as it thinks the revenue will be greater than the cost of any legal action.

As a reader, you just don't know whether any given story is made-up shit, or something true.

Boy who cried wolf. Totally undermines the Daily Mail's journalism when it bothers to do any. Which is a shame.

CarolDanvers · 18/08/2019 12:23

Well thanks for the mini lecture but please be reassured that it's not my only media source and I don't just blindly believe what is printed in there but I stand by my assertion that they go where others won't and as such have value in that respect.

Hels20 · 18/08/2019 14:04

And just checked the DM website and the story has been pulled...and in its space, a story about Harkle.

justasking111 · 18/08/2019 14:15

yep still there. Watching the royals attending church this morning was weird.

I think Philip will be absolutely blazing angry with Andrew never mind Fergie, whatever his faults he has stuck to the mantra that the Royal sovereign and all their responsibilities trumps everything.

Notmyrealname855 · 18/08/2019 14:42

bananasandwicheseveryday

Well the DM also published pictures of Phil at Balmoral with his riding partner Penny Brabourn so he seems pretty relaxed about that.

Not sure why the royals try with keeping up appearances - do they do it for the public’s sake?!

NeelixFelicis · 18/08/2019 15:09

Did anyone see the pictures of the young girl pa had his arms around? She's been pictured in other locations including naomi Campbell bday party and strangely wearing the same clothes?!

There were around 400 pages of court documents uploaded online the day before Epstein's death, I didn't think they'd end up around for long so downloaded them. Naomi Campbell is named as being present at an event. No implication of wrongdoing that I've seen, but Virginia Guiffre and Campbell definitely rubbed shoulders.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 18/08/2019 16:16

*How will the queen avoid being damaged by this and the other royals
*

The same way they always do - keep their heads down and buy some of the media off with a few photo opps / stories about an "outsider", while waiting for the focus to move on

Dowser · 18/08/2019 16:59

Couldn’t resist this one of willie clinton

Telegraph now reporting same story

Whosorrynow · 18/08/2019 21:41

In that picture where Epstein and Prince Andrew walking together it looks as if they are each other's double or it looks like zaphod beeblebrox with two heads

Frownette · 18/08/2019 21:59

@NeelixFelicis do you work in law?

viques · 19/08/2019 08:48

So Prince Andrew finds it abhorrent that anyone would even think of abusing children in his presence.

Not quite abhorrent enough to ask his best friend why he is employing an unqualified 17 year old "masseuse" , or why so many older men and very young girls come to the parties at the club, or why he has called his private jet Lolita Espress.

[I mean, I know PA is reputed to be among the thicker members of the royal family, but surely even he clocked that reference.]

His insistence on 'not having had a sexual relationship' only makes the unanswered questions louder and LOUDER. Again, didn't his other buddy Clinton warn him about trying to outfox the questions by weaselling the words.

NeelixFelicis · 19/08/2019 13:10

@Frownette no, I'm an undergraduate student. They weren't illegally obtained or anything - just a standard internet search and a bit of digging.
But like many other people, I never thought Epstein would make it to trial so thought they'd be removed from the public domain if when he died.

justasking111 · 19/08/2019 14:13

He`s not sorry he done it, just sorry he got caught imo. ditto Fergie with her hands in the cookie jar. They need to remarry to cover for each other.

justasking111 · 19/08/2019 14:14

People will disappear one way or the other before this debacle ends.

Mileysmiley · 23/08/2019 05:38
