Threw a bucket of water over the patio as need to put another line of clothes out.

After that I'm getting the frozon hot water bottle out the fridge and going to lie down.

But one more day of this
Thursday will be hell but at least it's one day not weeks like last year
I'm trying being upbeat now because I'm remembering how last summer I was bf a baby, potty training a 2 year old and the heat made me think I was in hell. It went on for weeks at 30+ degrees.
At least this is over on Friday, and then we have more temperate weather at 24/25 degrees. That's hot, but it's ok.

robin where I am with rare exceptions it's been hotter than last year every day, yesterday was 10c hotter than last year. It was supposed to be much cooler today and hasn't been.

Last year we had 5 days of 34 degrees,it was hell. A cool day was 29. I'm old enough to remember the summer of 76 and even my mum said it was worse last year. Sounds like you were lucky to have been in a coolish area.

@SheWoreRedVelvet have you been to your doctor and been checked for hyperhidrosis? I have it over my entire body but my face is the bit that works me up the most as there's no hiding it. It happens summer, winter alike. There is medication etc. I'm currently on probanthane after working through oxybutyin (life changing for the 18 months before I became immune to it) and another that did nothing. These ones make it about 60% better most of the time. Even more of used with tite grip cream on the face too.

No, I hadn't heard of this? My face doesn't sweat in the Autumn or Winter though. But when it's warm my face sweats much more than my body.

It's 26c here today but the weather app says it feels like 31. Horrible.

My Tesco delivery just came but I've still got to go shopping because they've delivered no chilled or frozen items because the fridges and freezers aren't working 😒

I just had a paddling pool bath

Got in the pool, got wet and then stepped out to wash my hair and body using pool water to rinse it.

It was bloody bliss

Even if the wind blowing made it a bit too cold at times I really couldn’t care

Interested in this Odaban spray. Is it different or better than Magicool? I've got two cans and find it (temporarily) helps.

My dog pad should be arriving today. According to my thermometer app it was 29 in the flat earlier, 31 outside. I just want to get tomorrow over with.

I've just been in a cool bath with a drop of teatree oil in it, to try and cool down all my sweaty bits (that's most of me!)

Going out for a meal tonight and I couldn't feel less like it, unless the place has air conditioning!

Odaban is not a cooler like magicool x

I'm also very tired. Massive thunder and lightning storm last night woke me up at about 2.30am.
Summer can do one. I spend the whole thing hot/uncomfortable/moist (🤢) everywhere and tired.

I hate the hot weather, I'm too damn fat to enjoy it. Went to a toddler group this morning just because it was in an air conditioned room (took my toddler too 😂). He's currently living his best life naked in the paddling pool while I slowly melt into a puddle...

Still dreading tomorrow but like others say at least after tomorrow it cools a little.

Am feeling very sorry for myself as had a tooth extracted today that didn’t go well and is still bleeding. Particularly grim in the heat. Doubt there will be much sleep for me tonight!

He went to look at some social housing in Vienna and they have INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOLS

Fuck me I'm moving to Vienna!
