I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

Belvita breakfast biscuit.
Nectarine.
Green smoothie.
Carrot and cucumber sticks.
Salmon fillet with potatoes, broccoli, corn and watercress sauce.
Gu chocolate cheesecake.
Packet of hula hoops.

B: porridge, banana, Greek style low fat yoghurt
L: two egg omelette with dry fried mushrooms, chills, tiny bit cheddar cheese. Mixed salad, two ryvita with low fat spreadable butter. A few mixed nuts
Have drunk tea and coffee

Breakfast - latte and bowl of porridge with blueberries and cinnamon. An apple.

Lunch - salad with tuna, haricot beans, beetroot, feta cheese and tomatoes, dressed with a splash of balsamic vinegar.

Mango and raspberries.

Dinner is going to be vegetable chilli with rice.

I’m on the Slimming World plan at the moment, so I’m eating quite well.

Breakfast= special k with blueberries. Coffee

Lunch= chicken and stuffing sandwich. Sweet potato paprika crisps. 1 oat biscuit

Dinner tonight will be home made quiche, salad and corn cobs

Breakfast: granola, yoghurt, strawberries. Coffee
Lunch: Chicken, tomato and lettuce sandwich
Snack: salami stick
Dinner: lamb meatballs, pitta, herby yoghurt, hummus, corn cobs.

Breakfast: two boiled eggs with wholemeal soldiers and butter (2 slices)

Lunch: a tomato

Dinner will be smoked haddock pie with peas, broad beans, broccoli and cauliflower

Yesterday, I had:
B: scrambled egg on toast, fruit salad (kiwi, mango, strawberries)
L: falafel, hummus, crudités, olives; greek yoghurt
D: leftover bacon and cheddar quiche, chips and beans
Chocolate ice cream

Today:
B: Greek yoghurt with muesli, berries, chopped nuts and honey
L: mixed bean burger in wholemeal roll with roasted courgettes
D: will be baked cheese and tomato risotto with salad

I've also had watermelon and planning on dark chocolate later. First cycle post-baby is due and I'm ravenous so going to make a boiled egg to stop me eating my body weight in cheese and chocolate!

B - homemade smoothie
L - butternut squash soup
D - tofu stir fry with noodles followed by a muller corner yogurt and 1 shortbread biscuit.
Snacks - carrot sticks, cereal bar.
(I normally eat like a horse but I’m trying to lose weight)

B-0% Greek yogurt, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries
L- two chicken thighs with salad and some melon
D- will be sea bass, caponata and fattoush.

I'm trying to cook some different things as I'm sick of eating the same thing all the time.

Yesterday:
B - muesli, fruit, yoghurt
L - beetroot falafel, salad
D - lentil spaghetti bol, cheddar, slice of banana bread
S - 2 dried fruit and nut snacks

Today:
B - muesli, fruit, yoghurt
L - crackers, strawberries (had lentil soup, didn’t fancy it)
D - courgette , spinach and feta, frittata, salad, banana bread
S - 2 sad, stale oatcakes
May have bread and butter later

Oh, I also had a little tub of mixed nuts, raisins and a bit of dark chocolate shortly before lunchtime. Which probably explains why I didn’t want the soup.

Today;

Breakfast just coffee

Lunch pesto chicken pasta, slice of lemon drizzle & slice of lemon curd cream sponge ( it was my monthly mums and baby meet up so cake is always had)

Dinner tonight will be cod fillets wrapped in Parma ham, baby potatoes and tender stem broccoli

D - will be gammon steaks, potatoes and peas

B-nothing just a tea and squash to take my meds with.

L-me and my DH went out for lunch we had a meat tasting board to start with,Spiced rum BBQ chicken wings, oak smoked beef meatballs, beef barbacoa stuffed yorkies, classic mac & cheese, hand-cut nachos and garlic bread.It was gorgeous but huge and then I had an 8oz rump with a porcini mushroom and black garlic sauce all washed down with a couple of cocktails and then I grabbed a double chocolate and salted caramel cookie dough to have on the way home.

I'm not going to eat for the rest of today and I probably won't eat much for the rest of the weekend so my stomach can recover from everything I've eaten today.

Porridge, fruit and crisps. Will have a strange diet for the next few days, no money for groceries until next week. Thankfully the kids like porridge.

I overslept, skipped breakfast and forgot to pick up my packed lunch, on the upside it is the nearly the end of term so I have had a cupcake and half a box of quality street Grin got home not that long ago so will eat something sensible in a bit.
