I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

My diet isn’t great (obviously!) at the moment but I am working on it Blush

Pasta with creamy sauce and sundried tomato (vegan, made with almond milk and nutritional yeast)
Homemade kale, chickpea and cashew byriani.

No crisps which is unlike me

In NZ so my day has just started!

I’ve just had a small bowl of oat and flaxseed porridge made with almond milk, topped with a very creamy Greek yoghurt, chia seeds and a no-sugar maple flavoured syrup.

Currently drinking a coffee.

Lunch will be salad and it’s Wednesday so going out for a curry with my boyfriend. Probably saag palak I think.

A few strawberries and raspberries bought from stall at hospital appointment.

A macaroni pie and can of coke in the car.

An arbroath smokie (fish) with rocket, tomato and carrot salad with a chilli and mango dressing, 2 slices of ancient grain bread with butter at home.

I'm hungry again!

B - poached egg, spinach, half an avocado
Mid morning chocolate hobnob
L -leftover veg chilli in a wrap with cheese. A bit of chocolate.
Cracker and cheese and a plum
D - pulled chicken quesadilla (made by ds2) with Mexican rice, avocado spring onion and Greek yoghurt.
One glass of white wine
Tea, coffee, squash and water.

L: turkey and feta burger in wholemeal roll with salad, a pear
D: linguine with sausage Ragu
Also had some grapes this afternoon and going to have some greek yoghurt soon

Dinner - Salmon with mash, broccoli & runner beans.

Breakfast: black coffee, pint of water. Fat free greek yogurt with fresh strawberries and mango.
Lunch: pitta bread, tuna in brine, peppers and leftover roast veg small crumble feta and an apple.
More water.
Dinner: grilled plaice, lentils with roast veg, green beans and peas (cheeky dab of butter on top). Water.
No snacks but I do fancy something sweet now.

Ooh love these threads! I always seem so greedy though compared to most.

Breakfast: 2 weetabix with summer berries and skimmed milk

Lunch: half a baguette and pate, salad and mixed beans

Snack: shared a shortbread style cake with DH at a cafe

Dinner: chicken pie made with sweet potato topping

Pudding: dairy milk popping candy

DH is off this week so I wouldn't usually have such a big/stodgy lunch, nor cake nor chocolate!

Last time we moved, we only went a few streets away and the movers just put the freezer on last and took it off first. Didn’t need to empty it, it was great.

B- a bowl of rice Krispies and milk
Cup of boiled water
Cup of tea

Snack- hotcross bun, cup of coffee

L- one avocado, 3 falafels, 2 mini wraps with Philadelphia, popcorn, satsuma, rice cracker peanuts. Cup of tea

Snack- caramel rice cake, cup of coffee

D- tandoori lamb from m and s, rice, broccoli and carrots, glass of water

Strawberry and cucumber tea

Bit of better day today:

B- raisin wheat
L- mackerel salad with chickpeas
D- salad with leftover mackerel, curried chickpeas and quinoa
S - small latte, 2 alpen light bars.

All ruined by a McDonald's apple pie. But as I'm doing slimming world it's not too bad. 2a's, 2b's (I'm breastfeeding so allowed 3a and 2b) and 13.5 syns.

B - small bowl of fruit and fibre
L - goats cheese and caramelised onion panini with crisps, salad and coleslaw.
Cappuccino and a piece of almond and apricot cake
D - salad with bacon, broccoli and olives. A couple of bits of tortellini (that's what the dcs and dh had)
Half a bottle of very nice white wine (out with a friend)
Cup of coffee, small bar of dark chocolate and 2 biscuits just now. (Post pub munchies!)

B - baked oats with raspberries and a squirt of maple syrup. Coffee.
L - a picnic lunch while out. Had a small sausage roll, bread and cheese, celery, grapes and probably way too many crisps. Cup of tea.
D - will be a Thai takeaway. Normally get the duck pancakes plus a chicken and noodle dish 😋
