Hi everyone,

Awhile ago there was a thread going where we wrote what our toddlers had eaten each day and it was great seeing how/what others were eating. It was really helpful.

I just wondered if anyone fancied starting it up again.

DS 22m
Breakfast - 1 1/2 pancakes made from banana egg and oats. 4 chunks of melon
Snack - 2/3rds of a satsuma
Lunch - pork loin steak, carrots, parsnips, peas. 3 bites of boiled potato with butter
Snack - was on a playdate so some scrambled egg as we arrived while they were eating lunch. 2 strawberries 2x crackers and couple pieces of pineapple.
Tea - couple chunks of chicken, slice of pepper and probably half a mouthful of egg noodles. 4 chunks of melon.

Nursery today. I can't remember what they had for breabbut some sort of cereal.
Spag bol for lunch and yoghurt.
Mid-afternoon cheese and ham sandwiches and fruit ( I forget what sort, should listen more carefully!).
At home they had garlic and herb chicken with roast potatoes and a mixture of roast veg out of which they picked out the carrots and left the rest.
Strawberries and apricots for pudding. Ds ate the straw band chucked the apricots on the floor. Dd ate hers.

Back in childcare as well.

Breakfast: cereal with milk, all eaten.

Snacks: yogurt, banana, devoured as usual

Lunch: salmon and spinach pasta, mostly eaten from what I can tell

Snack: peach, about half eaten

Dinner: homemade Turkish lamb kebab, curly fries, peas and sweetcorn - ate all the veg and fries, but turned their nose up at the kebab. Reluctantly had some when bribed with watermelon for pudding - grabbed as much of the melon as they could.

Breakfast - chocolate hoops

Snacks - apple, orange, necterine

Dinner - beans on toast with cheese

Tea - pizza waffles and peas followed by yogurt

InMyOwnParticularIdiom · 04/06/2019 19:12

Bowl of dry Cheerios (attempts to add milk led to meltdown)

2 biscuits at playgroup

Chicken noodle soup with toast
Grapes and a yogurt
Small piece of chocolate
Pinched a couple of my crisps

Banana

Potato waffle and baked beans (fishfingers were refused due to the fact the batter comes off slightly when you put a fork in it - yes it's one of those days)
Yogurt

SnugglySnerd · 04/06/2019 20:19

Breakfast- porridge. 2 helpings each.

Mid morning they shared an apple as we only used one left.

Lunch was 1.5 crumpets each with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, celery and cheese cubes. The crumpets and cucumber got eaten. Some of the cheese and dd ate her tomatoes. They both ate some blueberries too.

Mid-afternoon 3x cream crackers with cream cheese and half a banana each.

Dinner was veggie risotto - 2 helpings each then raspberries and apricot which all got eaten.

A good day!

Impatientwino · 04/06/2019 21:43

21 months

An enormous bowl of Cheerios with milk
Half banana
Handful sultanas
Spoonful of big brothers porridge (demanded!)

Small oat bar

Half tuna sandwich - very begrudgingly
Half cream cheese sandwich - due to above tuna tantrum
Cucumber and cherry toms
Babybel

Fruit wiggles things

Tomato and veggie sauce and spaghetti
Breaded chicken breast
Licked some broccoli
Few carrots
Pot of petit filous - big size
Strawberries and grapes

He is teeny tiny too! Still in 12-18m trousers?!

This thread is great for ideas, I’m always lacking with inspiration for partially dinners as he’s getting fussy about what he’ll eat then. Trying not to worry as his big brother was the same and is now virtually a dustbin!

NoNameIdeas · 04/06/2019 21:45

Breakfast: weetabix and toast at nursery, some milk, a yogurt and half a stolen (mine...) banana at home

Lunch: chilli with mashed potato and carrots with raspberry sorbet for pudding (nursery)

Tea: carrot, lentil and parsnip soup with whole meal bread

Nursery snacks: pepper and cucumber sticks, plain rice cake

After nursery: grapes, a few yogurt raisins, a rich tea biscuit, a raw carrot and 3 mini bread sticks.

Impatientwino · 04/06/2019 21:48

Particularly I meant not partially!

He's so weird - he literally will scoff something one day and then point blank refuse it the next.

Like boiled eggs, some days he'll eat all of it and ask for more and then others he'll eat the first spoonful then no more. Couple of nights ago he wouldn't touch a piece of salmon bit before he's eaten a whole fillet to himself?

It's like playing (expensive) Russian roulette at mealtimes and it drives me nuts! I try not to show fear when I put his plate down and limit eye contact Grin

InMyOwnParticularIdiom · 05/06/2019 18:04

Weetabix with banana and prune purée

Gingerbread man

Cheese and ham toastie, satsuma

Cream cheese on crackers, raisins

Meatballs and mash with Swedish gravy, carrots
Chocolate mousse

Not the healthiest day but she didn't complain about any of it!

Tessalectus · 05/06/2019 19:07

Breakfast: cereal, milk

Snack: banana, yogurt

Lunch: I think it may have been Chinese-inspired stir fry, but I took it out of the back of the freezer unlabelled, so, really, could have been anything. All eaten, anyway.

No snacks at childcare - they forgot. Had some raw carrot at home as part of "looking at dinner".

Dinner is Chilli con carne with lots of beans, avocado, pepper, sweetcorn and tomatoes. Spice rules! Yet to see how much is being eaten.

AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter · 05/06/2019 19:10

Today my toddler ate cereal, way too much chocolate, a cheese dunker, smoothie and last nights sausage pasta. I feel like I've bribed him all day with treats SadBlush. Bad mummy.

Breakfast - 1 slice toast/butter + about 10 grapes
Snack - banana
Lunch - ritz biscuits/cheese/ham/cucumber/handful of tortilla crisps
Snack - baby cereal bar (organix I think)
Dinner - shepherds pie/grated cheese/cucumber/yoghurt

And DP has just given him a smal bowl of doritos ffs. Not only is it bed time he’s just had a bath, already cleaned his teeth and has white pyjamas on. Idiot.

cerealspiller · 05/06/2019 21:00

Breakfast - cereal with milk

Snack - oaty bar, offered cut up cherry tomatoes but she didn't even look at them

Lunch - toast with fruit purée spread on and some apple

Snack - not sure as kids were out with grandparents but saw a picture of my younger child with a chocolate covered cardigan so think a little treat was had!

Dinner - offered spaghetti bolognese however she ate only the pieces of spaghetti which hadn't touched any sauce/meat/veg. Ended up making her a slice of toast because she wouldn't stop asking (bad Mum award). Later she had a small piece of swiss roll we were eating for dessert then some apple

Ivestoppedreadingthenews · 05/06/2019 21:05
