Hi everyone,

Awhile ago there was a thread going where we wrote what our toddlers had eaten each day and it was great seeing how/what others were eating. It was really helpful.

I just wondered if anyone fancied starting it up again.

DS 22m
Breakfast - 1 1/2 pancakes made from banana egg and oats. 4 chunks of melon
Snack - 2/3rds of a satsuma
Lunch - pork loin steak, carrots, parsnips, peas. 3 bites of boiled potato with butter
Snack - was on a playdate so some scrambled egg as we arrived while they were eating lunch. 2 strawberries 2x crackers and couple pieces of pineapple.
Tea - couple chunks of chicken, slice of pepper and probably half a mouthful of egg noodles. 4 chunks of melon.

Plan to feed toddler today as follows:

Bf: half a banana, blueberry and porridge (7:30)

Snack: hummus. Rice cake. Nectarine. (Put out at 9.30, take off at 11).

Lunch: tomato, eggs. Beat root ( 1:00)

Snack: cheese. Rusk Cookie. Satsuma. (Put out at 3:00, remove at 5).

Dinner: kebab, potato. Yoghurt. (6:30)

I need to work on the timing of my snacks so that it doesn’t clash with his main meals or naps.

What he did end up eating today is as follows:

Bf: porridge (half of the bowl) and banana. Some milk. No blackberries. Lots of Slices of melons.

Snack: rice cake. Remaining of the porridge.

Lunch: meat kebabs. Only 3 small pieces. Bread with hummus.

Snack: some orange squash (I gave in). quarter of an egg sandwich. Some milk.

Dinner: mashed potato ( 2 spoons only). Two and half fish fingers. Nectarine.

WhatsInAName19 · 19/07/2019 20:06

Breakfast: a couple of mouthfuls of cornflakes. Glass of smoothie.

Lunch: jacket potato with tuna. Half a lotus biscuit.

Snack: strawberries

Tea: Two bites of sardine on toast.

This is a really interesting thread! 21 month DD ate:

4 spoons of ready brek, 1 small piece of mango.

A bag of asda turtle snacks, 2 raspberry rice cakes.

1.5 blueberries, a chunk of apple and the tiniest mouthful of a piece of wrap. Left all other lunch stuff.

An ice lolly.

2 pieces of mango, 1 bite of pear, half a raw carrot, a bag of pomm bears.

Also loads and loads of breastmilk which I think is the heat. She's a nightmare for food at the moment though!

Thesearmsofmine · 22/07/2019 19:46

15 month old DS has had

Breakfast: 1 banana pancake, few blueberry wheats and some raspberries

Bubbletrouble43 · 22/07/2019 20:21

My twins 2yrs 7 months; breakfast slice brown toast and strawberries and yogurt, second breakfast a croissant and half a banana ( each) lunch ham, cheese , crackers, more strawberries and ice cream, afternoon snack a bag of organix carrot puffs, dinner veggie fingers, baked beans and mashed potato followed by pineapple and yogurt. Average day. So glad they eat, dd1 ( now strapping healthy eating 21 yo) was faddy and would go days without eating properly, stressed me out a bit, so pp who said toddler barely eats, don't worry, been there! It does change!

Bubbletrouble43 · 22/07/2019 20:24

Ineedawee nothing wrong with a dairylea dunker! Personally never leave the house without a pack of dairylea lunchables in case hangriness strikes!!

Here to revive this thread. I was under a different name and my toddler used to eat well but he gave me hard time around the 2 year mark and now finallyyyttt is managing to eat a bit more.

I’m still not pleased at all with his lack of variety and his new taste buds which only crave processed things so here for the inspiration.

Breakfast: carrot sticks and hummus and some cheese bites
Snack apple
Lunch fish fingers and some chicken with ketchup
Snack crackers with grapes and apples
Dinner pasta with tomato and veggies.

I’m stuck to very limited choices because of his fussiness at this stage and I’m very annoyed as he used to eat much healthier options prior to his new eating mood
