Hi everyone,

Awhile ago there was a thread going where we wrote what our toddlers had eaten each day and it was great seeing how/what others were eating. It was really helpful.

I just wondered if anyone fancied starting it up again.

DS 22m
Breakfast - 1 1/2 pancakes made from banana egg and oats. 4 chunks of melon
Snack - 2/3rds of a satsuma
Lunch - pork loin steak, carrots, parsnips, peas. 3 bites of boiled potato with butter
Snack - was on a playdate so some scrambled egg as we arrived while they were eating lunch. 2 strawberries 2x crackers and couple pieces of pineapple.
Tea - couple chunks of chicken, slice of pepper and probably half a mouthful of egg noodles. 4 chunks of melon.

B- weetabix and banana, plus most of his dads bran flakes

L- carrot and lentil soup
An aldi baby flap Jack bar

Snack- an oreo biscuit hed managed to steal and half a yellow crayon that he managed to devour before I got to him.

D- dinner was shepherds pie with carrot and peas. I put him a sausage on as well as I wasnt convinced he'd eat anything. He only ate the sausage.
Peppa pig ice cream for pudding.

meepmoop · 02/06/2019 17:37

Breakfast - raspberries, strawberries, peanut butter on toast

No snack.

Lunchtime was an absolute battle. DS went full tantrum as he wanted a biscuit instead of his lunch which he threw. So lunch was a rich tea, half a soreen, strawberries, raspberries and a cup of milk.

Snack - some crisps, vienesse whirl

Tea - 3 1/2 chicken goujons, mixed veg and cheese. He actually ate this without fuss.

Breakfast- 2 bowls of Cheerios, got annoyed with me because we had run out of bananas and refused any other fruit offered

Lunch- a mini chicken wrap, a couple of slices of cucumber and cherry tomatoes, a yogurt and a little chocolate cake. Still wanted a banana and no other fruit would do.

Dinner- a big helping of cottage pie (I packed this full of veg and lentils) plus l rice pudding with jam for pudding.
We have bananas now but of course he doesn’t want one!

Pancakes for breakfast. Ds had 2, dd had 1. Both had lots of strawberries and blueberries and Greek yoghurt.

Afternoon snack was crackers with cream cheese and half a banana each.

Dinner was spag bol. Dd had 2 bowls. Ds had an epic tantrum, not sure what about. He eventually decided to eat it when we started to clear away and ate 2 helpings!

cerealspiller · 02/06/2019 20:51

Today I'd been up all of 3 seconds when she started crying for a 'snack' at 6.30am... so she had a mini apple soreen and some raisins for breakfast

Snack: couple of rice cakes, 1/2 apple, a banana biscotti

Lunch: when I left the room for a second she stole two dry rolls off the counter, ran to her room and ate all the outsides off both of them... then she had some grated cheese, dried apricot pieces (threw away), grapes and a few turtle crisps

Snack: rest of turtle crisps and 2 squares of chocolate in an effort to convince her to stop screaming in the buggy

Dinner: quesadillas with lime chicken, avocado, tomato, cheese, beans, salsa and yoghurt... of which she ate the wrap only

Was a mischievous day...

Tessalectus · 02/06/2019 21:27

Not our healthiest day.

Breakfast was 1 slice of toast with 1/2 bacon and tomato sauce and 1/2 chocolate spread. Still hungry, apparently, so had a yogurt.

Lunch was a slice of toast with grated cheese and beans. Requested cheese yesterday and had a tantrum over the cheese today, picking every single bit off before eating the bread and beans.

We made s'more-style muffins in the afternoon and half of one muffin was eaten.

Dinner was honey and sesame chicken with mixed veg and noodles - all eaten apart from the cauliflower. Then another huge helping of watermelon; we couldn't provide the next piece fast enough.

Banana and cherry juice and lots of squash in between, water again for bedtime.

bingbangbosh · 03/06/2019 20:29

At nursery today as I was back to work. So according to her day sheet:

8oz milk when she woke up.

B: Cheerios and toast

L: spag Bol with veggies

Snacks: banana, assorted fruit and a cheese wrap.

D (when I finally got her home home): cheated as I was knackered, so a little dish fish pie with chopped up baby sweet corn and green beans, strawberries and blueberries.

6oz milk and approximately half a tube of toothpaste after she fished it out from the boxes under changing table.

As a contrast (just for fun) here is what I had today...

B: coffee x 3

S: a mini Colin the caterpillar cake that had been in the work fridge since before half term.

L: a partially defrosted broccoli and tomato quiche that had been in the freezer since Jan. and a manky banana (I eat the crappy ones that I don't want to feed to my child).

D: currently waiting for a Chinese.

Ugh.
