Hi everyone,

Awhile ago there was a thread going where we wrote what our toddlers had eaten each day and it was great seeing how/what others were eating. It was really helpful.

I just wondered if anyone fancied starting it up again.

DS 22m
Breakfast - 1 1/2 pancakes made from banana egg and oats. 4 chunks of melon
Snack - 2/3rds of a satsuma
Lunch - pork loin steak, carrots, parsnips, peas. 3 bites of boiled potato with butter
Snack - was on a playdate so some scrambled egg as we arrived while they were eating lunch. 2 strawberries 2x crackers and couple pieces of pineapple.
Tea - couple chunks of chicken, slice of pepper and probably half a mouthful of egg noodles. 4 chunks of melon.

I'm slightly disappointed in reading the title of this thread I thought it would be along the lines of 'today my toddler ate....a bathroom tile...' and other hilarity.

None the less some fab ideas here for when my 5 month old is weaned 😁 will keep watching!

Otterses · 31/05/2019 19:53

Today DS has had:

Breakfast - One waffle, a handful of blueberries, and a piece of toast.

Lunch - A jalapeño and two mini cheddars. Some dirt from DM's potato planters.

And he refused dinner flat out. As he did his lunch.

The joys of teething Grin

Malted wheaties again for breakfast
Lunch jam on toast, nectarine glass of milk
Snack banana and ice cream
Dinner lasagna and wedges which he turned his nose up to

BishopofBathandWells · 31/05/2019 22:05

Today was a rubbish day, as we had a trip to the local zoo with DD and ate on the go.

Breakfast: half a banana, slice of Nutella on toast
Lunch: pizza slices, packet of Pom Bears
Dinner: Mini kievs, carrots and green beans.
13oz of cow's milk
Lots of water since she discovered bottles with a sports cap!

This thread is lovely, thanks for starting it OP. I posted a while back asking about dietary habits of toddlers and was basically told she was eating too much, so it's nice to see what other people are having.

Lovelost01 · 31/05/2019 23:06

Today my 21 month old DS ate-
Ready brek & pureed bananas & cup of milk for breakfast

Mini tortilla pizza, cucumber & carrots, then yoghurt for lunch

Milk, blueberries and strawberries for snack

Oh god there was not much variety there was there 🤔 it's been one of those days . She's very fussy though so I'm glad she ate anything to be honest !

SnugglySnerd · 01/06/2019 21:08

26 month twins.
Breakfast was cheerios and toast with cream cheese.
Mid-morning they shared an apple.
Lunch was pizzas that they helped to make so topped with tomato sauce, peppers, corn and cheese plus all the toppings they ate whilst making it. So mainly corn really!
Mid afternoon they had a crumpet each.
Tea was breaded fish, wedges and peas followed by strawberries and Greek yoghurt.

ohfucketyfuck · 01/06/2019 21:28

Reading this thread I'm seriously worried that my dd isn't eating enough. She's 16mo and today she's eaten:

Half a banana and about 2 spoons of dry cereal

2 chocolate buttons

A mouthful of sausage

1 and a half raisin cookie thing

A quarter of a burger (bbq and weekend away - she wouldn't normally eat so much shit!)

And about 78 litres of milk 😂😂. She really doesn't eat much in general but she's a good healthy chunky baby. I'm really worried she's not getting the nutrients she needs. Trust me I've tried cutting back the milk. Queue meltdowns and hunger strikes 😭😭😭

Munder · 01/06/2019 22:19

Fussy DD 3 yo. Not technically a toddler?

Chocolate weetabix
Innocent smoothie

Two pancakes with butter
Cheese dinosaur
Yoghurt
Bite of DPs mint chocolate slice
Carton of juice

Wotsits
Peanuts
Strawberries

Not read the whole thread yet but I bet the above is one of the worst!

maggycool · 01/06/2019 22:26

29 month

A bagel thin with peanut butter

2 slices of white bread and butter
Some cheese
Bowl of blueberries and strawberries
A cereal bar
A couple of wotsits and a handful of popcorn
A mini milk

Wholemeal spaghetti with homemade 6 veg sauce
A yogurt

Wish he'd eat more fruit and veg. And protein that isn't a sausage or cheese. 🤔

TheSheepofWallSt · 01/06/2019 22:29

2.5 yo DS is a grazer ... today he’s had

1st breakfast- an apple and 1.5 weetabix with whole milk and raisins

2nd breakfast - a croissant with a teaspoon of Nutella. A huge hunk of watermelon.

Snack - an obscene amount of mini cheddar biscuits

Lunch- half an avocado, carrot sticks, a few toddler veggie crisps and a fromage frais lolly.

3.5 hour nap so skipped afternoon snacks (at home would usually be crumpets or half a sandwich, maybe veg sticks with hummus, cheese or if we’re out and about, a treat like cake at a coffee shop)

Dinner- big bowl of macaroni with pesto and cheese. Few bites of broccoli. Told me salmon and asparagus would give him a tummy ache so that half of dinner was rejected Hmm. Strawberry ice cream for pudding.

Requested more pasta at 8pm. Too sleepy to eat it. Requested an apple at 8.15pm. Fell asleep clutching it 😬

I can only think he’s having a growth spurt. He costs a fortune to run...

TheSheepofWallSt · 01/06/2019 22:30

Oh and a banana between dinner and supper requests!

whatscuterthanasleepingbaby · 01/06/2019 22:33

14 month old and 2.5 year old

Cheese and pesto (eaten) on sourdough (left untouched!)

Half a breakfast muffin each

Bluberries, strawberries, shared a pancake with butter

Chicken, (left!) spinach, mushroom and cream pasta

Few bites of an apple and very little banana

Slice of toast each (youngest had a few bites)

Yoghurt each

BM on demand

Tessalectus · 02/06/2019 09:51

Hmm, let's see...

Breakfast was cereal and milk. Some squash.

Yogurt for snack.

Then beans and cheese on toast for lunch, followed by a huge helping of watermelon.

Banana and cherry juice in the afternoon, and lots of squash.

All homemade beef karahi with garlic naan and cauliflower pakora for dinner, followed by a handful of blackberries. Wasn't too keen on the pakora, but devoured the rest, even though it was reasonably spicy.

Water at bedtime.
