What are your controversial food opinions?

Some of mine.

Raisins(And walnuts) ruin everything.
A really good burger is nicer than steak.
Garlic bread is better without cheese.
Chocolate ice cream is revolting.
Earl Grey tea is awful.
Yorkshire tea is disgusting.
Vegetables are nicer than fruit.
Alcohol ruins desserts.

Lamb is disgusting and tastes like the smell of farmyards

There should be no meat in pasta other than pancetta

Veggie pizza with a bbq sauce base can beat any meat pizza

McDonald's burgers are bliss and I fantasise about them often

Eggs are food of the gods - poached, scrambled, boiled, fried!

Ketchup is not the best sauce. Brown sauce and salad cream are far superior

Beetroot goes with almost everything

Truffle flavoured oil, awful. Shaved real truffle, also awful.

Goats cheese, food of the gods.

McDonald’s dill pickles, awful. Proper dill pickle with crunch, amazing.

Mushy peas are the food of the gods
All dried fruit is revolting
Rooibos tea should be illegal it’s hanging.

Chocolate cake is almost always disappointing, looks much better than it tastes.
Poached salmon is much nicer than battered cod.
Gentleman’s Relish and butter on toast is infinitely better than plain buttered toast.
Crunchy peanut butter and marmite are a sandwich match made in heaven.
Marks and Spencer ready meals are extremely bland and overpriced.

Oh and Goats cheese tastes like goats smell (which makes me weird because I love it).
Oh, oh and coconut, beetroot and ginger soup is so good it should be taxed.

I like cheese triangles on toast, offal of any description is vile, marmalade on brown toast is the best sunday morning breakfast with strong tea!,

Mayonnaise tastes like vomit
Pies need to have a bottom and sides, they can't have just a lid
You can't beat a cheese and marmite sandwich
Nuts, offal and shellfish are not food
Neither is broccoli
Only men eat mustard, and that's just to prove how hard they are

Foie gras is one of my favourite things.
Plus steak.
A roast leg of Lamb. And lamb shank.

But I regularly eat vegan with my 2 friends.

All cake apart from Christmas cake is so wrong also mini muffins home made biscuits and Christmas puds are the work of the devil
Also corned beef is dog food
Mussels are slimy rubber tyres
Cucumber is just tasteless water
Beetroot is vile
Salt and vinegar crisps are so wrong
Any offal (I can’t bare to even think of tripe)
Strawberries taste like battery acid
Cooked carrots/peas are mush-raw are the dogs bollocks

Mustard however goes with EVERYTHING!

Oh & Worcester Sauce &toasted cheese on toast is yum :)

I really don't understand avocado love. Hate the texture and 'taste.'

I'd love to eat a Fray Bentos or Goblin pie.

Cheese omelette and cheese souffle; much as I love them make me physically sick. It's the mixture of hot egg and hot melty cheese grease that does not work for me

I'm a total chocoholic but really dislike chocolate ice cream and Nutella

Crisps-amazing invention
Chocolate-the idea of it never lives up to the taste
Celery- mmmmm raw dipped in salad cream
Weetabix- needs to be covered in hot water just enough so they don’t lose their shape before adding cold milk
Nutella should only be eaten off a spoon

Pomegranate seeds enhance nothing. Like eating little fruity pebbles

Tropical flavoured anything is a vile abhorrence.

Fudge has an aftertaste of vomit.

Tomato Ketchup is sugary, chemically crap and should be banned. (Anyone who mixes egg and ketchup or puts it on a gravy based dish should be banished)

Currents are the dried fruit of torture, why eat those grainy little devils when you can have a Californian raisin.

Nando's is over priced, & over hyped.

Prunes, but not too many, are lovely.
