What are your controversial food opinions?

Some of mine.

Raisins(And walnuts) ruin everything.
A really good burger is nicer than steak.
Garlic bread is better without cheese.
Chocolate ice cream is revolting.
Earl Grey tea is awful.
Yorkshire tea is disgusting.
Vegetables are nicer than fruit.
Alcohol ruins desserts.

Bacon is overrated
Avocados are horrible and slimy
Chocolate cake is invariably dry and horrible

Bubble tea is delicious.
Crispy bacon and avocado sandwiches are delightful. I might make some for lunch tomorrow.

Don't serve me a roast dinner without gravy. It is just dry and disgusting.

Avocado is vile BUT guacamole is amazing when made right and with the right tortilla chip.

Marmite on toast with a poached egg and grated cheese is amazing.

Avocado isn't vile, IMO. But it is unbelievably boring. It adds very little to any meal, and it's certainly not acceptable on its own.

Guacamole, on the other hand, is the mutt's nuts.

Cheese is the devils food.

Never heard of bubble tea till now!
Had to look it up.
I like normal tea myself.

@NaturalBornWoman 🤣 I get that reaction constantly! So over rated. And if I had to choose a roast potato I much prefer the frozen ones I will eat them but don't enjoy them at all!

faffy Although a firm and dedicated butter lover, I am remembering filled stotties in the 80s with lashings of margarine which I actually loved the taste of. Not sure I’ve had it since. Maybe I need to revisit for certain types of sandwich ?!

I have yet to meet a savoury food that mayonnaise doesn't enhance.

I don't like seared mostly raw tuna steaks, I like mine fried to fuck.

Oysters - mouthful of jizz

Caviar - nasty little exploding balls of fish juice

Prawn crackers - deep fried foreskins
