"Garlic bread is better without cheese.
Chocolate ice cream is revolting."
Totally with you on these.
I love early grey tea though.
Mine:
Love pineapple on pizza
I'm veggie now but even when I wasn't I never liked bacon, overly salty, fatty, gristle yuk!
I also never liked jelly (which as a 70's kid meant most birthday parties were a nightmare!)
I LOVE mushrooms I can happily eat them raw straight from the punnet and finish the whole lot!
I hate sprouts - no I don't care what your "magical way to cook sprouts so even haterz like em" is I've never liked them I'm never going to
Gin smells and tastes like disinfectant
"There is no such thing as too much garlic." Hear hear!
"Jelly - the spunk of Satan" perfectly put!
"Undercooked eggs with snotty white are disgusting." Yep! We have a local place on "just eat" that does cooked breakfasts that a hungover dd will occasionally persuade me to order from, most of the time the food is spot on but once the fried eggs were only cooked around the edges! The "inner" white and yolk were barely warm - bleurgh!
"Carbs are not evil." This! Every time I see a thread on mn about cutting out food groups (usually carbs) I cringe. It's faddy and unhealthy, we have the different food groups for a reason we're meant to eat a wide variety of foods to maximise health & nutrition. Sorry real bugbear of mine
"People who talk about gagging and retching in relation to foods that other people clearly enjoy are twats." Yes! Fine here to discuss our disgust but everyone has different likes and dislikes and it's rude to criticise people for simply liking something you don't. However as a veggie who's ex had some pretty obnoxious friends pushing disliked food unwelcome into a persons vicinity is also a shitty thing to do.
