I am wide awake because I have to be at the hospital at 7am, because I am having a baby today Grin

This is the end of a long road of fertility tests and IVF, so it feels surreal that she will finally be here in the morning (caesarean, hence why I know she'll be here soon!) I am so excited.

How am I meant to be able to sleep?! I feel like a small child at Christmas!

Argh!

No point to this post, I just wanted to share my excitement because I am bursting Grin

How wonderful!! Thanks
Take it easy, take as many meds as you need, and soon those aches will be a distant memory. Glad you're enjoying the snuggles 😍😍
Huge congratulations!!

Congratulations!! I have just found out I'm being induced in 2 weeks so I know that i will have a baby that weekend!! It really is exciting , I won't sleep for 2 weeks now Smile

AlunWynsKnee · 05/05/2019 00:15

Enjoy her :)
I felt incredibly nauseous in my c/s so it may just be a reaction to that that made you sick. The codeine will constipate you so I would give it a go but get some prune juice or similar.

Congratulations and her name is beautiful.

I am guessing MW will be with you today or tomorrow? She'll give you a once over Flowers

RainbowMum11 · 05/05/2019 00:35

Huge congratulations x

I would recommend taking the codeine in preparation, plus do you have lactulose or similar?? 1st post-section poo can be horrific.

Calixtine · 05/05/2019 03:55

Rose 😍 How simply beautiful.

Congratulations again OP. You’ve done amazingly. Here’s to a very happy and healthy life together!

Congratulations! Such an exciting time. It might be the anaesthetic that made you sick afterwards. It happened to me.

Congratulations! What a beautiful name.

The anaesthetic from my CSection made me sick too. I'm so surprised you've been discharged on the same day! Take the pain relief you've been given.

Enjoy your brand new baby Flowers

Sorry it has been rough with the sickness and stuff. Hope they are looking after you well.

Hugest congratulations to you and your family. Thanks

Prawnofthepatriarchy · 05/05/2019 09:07

I absolutely love the name. I wanted to be called Rose so much at primary school that I started putting it instead of my real name on all my school work.

Congratulations. I very much sympathize about the pain. Try to take it very easy and call on all the help you can. Flowers
