I'm having a baby TODAY!

I am wide awake because I have to be at the hospital at 7am, because I am having a baby today Grin

This is the end of a long road of fertility tests and IVF, so it feels surreal that she will finally be here in the morning (caesarean, hence why I know she'll be here soon!) I am so excited.

How am I meant to be able to sleep?! I feel like a small child at Christmas!

Argh!

No point to this post, I just wanted to share my excitement because I am bursting Grin

I was unable to sleep on this day 26 years ago for exactly the same reason. It's a great day for a birthday Smile

Oh Lordy how exciting. I remember when DS was born being so emotional that he was finally here, even the paediatrician cried!

Enjoy this day, I promise you it is the best day of your life, ever. It's like you've known them all your life and have just been waiting for them to arrive.

All the best op and enjoy those squishy newborn cuddles and the smell of your babies head.
I can confirm that 8 year old and 5 year old cuddles are just as good though.
