Butter and marmite or butter and cheddar or butter and jam/marmalade. Always butter!!

Butter and marmite. I also like the butter with sea salt crystals. I love salt. It’ll probably kill me.

I didn't know you could get different size crumpets (don't live in UK). Used to love them with lots of butter and strawberry jam.

Syrup

Warbutons or M and S only.
Poached egg and marmite or butter or butter and jam/lemon curd.
Poached egg on crumpet will chamge your life though!

I don't eat crumpets. I'd never be able to stop once I (re)started. Re my "addictions" I'm 0-100!!

I'll only eat Warburton's normal sized crumpets. I've tried loads and only like theirs.

Waitrose do delicious wholegrain crumpets - I got them as a substitution once and I was sceptical but they have a delicious slightly nutty flavour.

Small. Must be cooled and must have cold salty butter. Thickly spread. It's what dreams are made of.

Small, toasted with a tiny bit of butter and topped with good quality cottage cheese ( has to be really cold from the fridge) sea salt and black pepper.

normal sized crumpets here, they need to toasted until they are just turning to get crispy, marmite plus moo cow triangle cheese... the best! My DS used to call it "mummy's coffee toast".... adorable. Oh how I miss those days when he was a toddler - he's a strapping 6ft 15 year old now.
