MsMustDoBetter · 25/03/2019 20:20

Small and butter

cricketmum84 · 25/03/2019 20:37

Also I must admit - DH eats them dry as he hates butter.

Should I LTB??

justjuggling · 26/03/2019 02:28

Butter and marmite or butter and cheddar or butter and jam/marmalade. Always butter!!

motherofdxughters · 26/03/2019 03:01

Small crumpets with salted butter.

sashh · 26/03/2019 05:37

Bottom of the crumpet obvs

But not while wet I assume?

Just butter on mine.

FiveLittlePigs · 26/03/2019 08:10

Butter. And not any of that buttery flavoured ”almost tastes like butter” vile abomination of a spread. Butter. That and a good cup of tea. Bliss.

GrumpyOldMare · 26/03/2019 08:22

Marmite and cheese.Gorgeous.

NaturalBornWoman · 26/03/2019 08:34

Small, well toasted and lots of butter. Occasionally marmite.

Bigonesmallone3 · 26/03/2019 20:28

Omg chocolate crumpets on GBBO
Weird

icelollycraving · 26/03/2019 20:31

Butter and marmite. I also like the butter with sea salt crystals. I love salt. It’ll probably kill me.

Blompitude · 26/03/2019 20:34

I didn't know you could get different size crumpets (don't live in UK). Used to love them with lots of butter and strawberry jam.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 26/03/2019 20:44

Syrup

Madbengalmum · 26/03/2019 20:50

Warbutons or M and S only.
Poached egg and marmite or butter or butter and jam/lemon curd.
Poached egg on crumpet will chamge your life though!

Happynow001 · 26/03/2019 20:50

I don't eat crumpets. I'd never be able to stop once I (re)started. Re my "addictions" I'm 0-100!!

AdaColeman · 26/03/2019 20:55

Syrup??!!
That is absolutely total decadence!

Igottastartthinkingbee · 26/03/2019 20:57

Small, butter and sometimes marmite too. Always warburtons, other crumpets are inferior!

TroysMammy · 26/03/2019 20:57

Small crumpets. Butter, marmite and then melt cheese on the top.

PandaCat · 26/03/2019 21:05

Flora light...

I'll only eat Warburton's normal sized crumpets. I've tried loads and only like theirs.

UnaOfStormhold · 26/03/2019 21:15

Waitrose do delicious wholegrain crumpets - I got them as a substitution once and I was sceptical but they have a delicious slightly nutty flavour.

ColdCrumpetsandButter · 26/03/2019 21:24

Small. Must be cooled and must have cold salty butter. Thickly spread. It's what dreams are made of.

vampirethriller · 27/03/2019 06:20

Small, butter and syrup.

RoonilWazlibsQuill · 27/03/2019 08:55

Small, toasted with a tiny bit of butter and topped with good quality cottage cheese ( has to be really cold from the fridge) sea salt and black pepper.

Se7en11 · 27/03/2019 10:06

normal sized crumpets here, they need to toasted until they are just turning to get crispy, marmite plus moo cow triangle cheese... the best! My DS used to call it "mummy's coffee toast".... adorable. Oh how I miss those days when he was a toddler - he's a strapping 6ft 15 year old now.

separatebeds · 27/03/2019 12:11

golden syrup
