Small, one with just butter, another with butter and jam

Mostly small but with loads of butter that it makes you feel sick

Butter and golden syrup is heavenly

HelloDarlin - it's just like a small one but about double the size. Just grill as normal. You don't slice it.

Butter and jam or butter and marmite. Crumpets also go very nicely with a cooked breakfast instead of toast, They make fantastic French toast with fresh berries, one of my favourite weekend breakfasts (or at least it was before I went on the Fast 800 diet )

Any size or shape. Toasted twice so they're really crispy on top and nothing but lashings of butter on them. Anything else is just plain weird!

Depends upon my mood. Crumpets with avocado, poached egg (and crispy bacon if you eat meat), drizzle of oil, black pepper = delicious.

Unpasteurised salted butter on an ordinary sized crumpet.

I always used to have proper salted butter & honey. However I have recently discovered the joy of smooth peanut butter & sliced banana. It seems unlikely on a crumpet, but it's really delicious.

I do like the giant ones but I have to cut the them in half or they fall apart because I have stupid tiny hands.

I am wondering about writing numbers on mine next time I have crumpets now. The advantage of peanut butter & sliced banana!

Don't eat them often, but butter. Lots of it.
