Live parking thread - cheeky fucking builders!

So my neighbours are getting work done again, and as usual they haven't told us (yesterday the work started at 6:30am but that's another story) and today I have gone out ready for my day to see a big fuck off lorry blocking my drive. Knocked on next door. No answer. Fence between us so not like I can even just use their drive to get out!

Crappy diagram attached.

Any update? I'm assuming they'll be inside working on the house by now? Just ring the doorbell.

I'd call the police, they are blocking access to the public highway

Gosh! I hope you see him when he returns to BFOL. I’m not presuming his gender, I actually know it will be a man and he will think you are at work all day.

Slap some Vaseline, lipstick, fairy liquid all over his windscreen then deny all knowledge!

Stick a note on his windscreen saying you have a note of his registration number so have contacted the police and will be billing him for lost earnings because you couldn't get out. CF!

Whereabouts do you live. In London they tow anyone committing the offence of blocking a dropped kerb.
I regularly have to call my council parking services to move vehicles blocking my drive.

Write in lipstick on their windscreen:
"Park across the the drive of the house that you're working in, you TWATS !"

And have words with your neighbours about not blocking your driveway.

My exact phrase when I've caught people parking across my drive were: "Do you live here? No? Do you pay the mortgage & bills? No? WELL DON'T PARK ON MY DRIVE THEN!!!"

Call the police. This will keep happening during the works unless you take action.

Vans are usually quite dirty OP I would probably go write "cheeky fucker" all over it before they come back. Are you sure the builders aren't there?

Report
ApolloandDaphne · 19/03/2019 13:21

Cheeky bastards. I would be calling the police.
