Facially I think I look slightly younger although aware people say they aged suddenly
Have noticed an improvement with higher end skincare

I know that I look a lot older when I lose weight, as I decided to go back to 20s weight of just over 8 stone when I was 40. I looked like a sucked in scarecrow in the face with lovely lines on both sides of my mouth. I decided to go back to 9 stone and my face plumped up again as did the waist sadly and I looked much better. I would rather be slightly bigger with a plumper face, than skinny with a scrawny scarecrow face.

I was 50 last month so thank you. And that's a no make up pic.

I look younger than I am but that’s still old. I think my generation look younger than our parents did at our age. I remember being my BF home when I was 16 and DM appeared with her curlers in and teeth out. Her winciette nightie and candlestick dressing gown completing the ensemble. I was born when she was 22 so she must’ve been 38.

About my age, younger when I’m at uni (big jumper, trainers and back pack) maybe a bit older in ‘business dress’ (never been able to look ‘cool’ in work clothes)

Dustymaiden, I agree. I was looking through a photo album yesterday and there were photos of my parents silver wedding so my mum would have been 48 and she looked so much older.

If you ask a friend they are hardly going to tell you if you look 10 years older than you actually are!

I would like to think I am well preserved for my age (44) but don't kid myself that I look younger

I think I look a little younger than my age. I always looked young when I was in my 20s and teens. My dd say I do. My skin is good I think

This was taken about 2 years ago. It is one of those photos that I think, oh I look young, then I catch sight of myself in a window or something and think, flip I look old. I think I am looking a lot older as I age. .
Makes sense really.

Honestly these phone photos don't prove anything either way. Namechange is at a weird angle with heavy filters on, most are bad quality, low lighting, odd angles, black and white etc. They may look younger but I can't tell from those pictures. No wonder people feel cheated by online dating photos.

The only thing I tend to notice is that women I know who never had kid's tend to look noticeably younger conpared to those of us with kids.
