YY to the cliff edge - up to 45-46 people were surprised when they found out how old I was.
47-48 - it's all gone to tits. Even Botox can't hold back the crepe and the jowls and the general air of fatigue.....

I think after age 70 it's not actually age you're seeing but health.

I don't think there's such a thing as "looking" 80 or 90, by that she what is perceived as age is to be blunt a combination of money and health.

If someone stands upright and has no underlying health problems giving them constant pain, preventing them sleeping and showing in their skin and stopping them dressing in clean well fitting clothing, and if they have enough money to buy good food and clothing and have their hair done etc. they'll look "young" for 80+ . Actually though they don't look young, but healthy, well presented and prosperous.

I look older, its the fine lines around the eyes and I also have unfortunate veiny/bony hands and feet so will not age well. Although someone did ask if I was 'born pregnant' on hearing I have a teenager Shock

I've no idea, but some people, usually not my age, express surprise when they find out my age. I have dated a man 20 years younger, he looked older than his age to me and most assumed we were similar age.
I have a friend who's grandmother moves with speed, straight back and with a slight spring in her step. I'd have yo guess she must be at least in her 70s, since her own daughter is 50s, but she has such grace, a zest for life, always trying new things and has a definite twinkle in her eyes. That's what I want to aim for

I am 50. I look 50. Eyes have gone, jawline gone, neck on its way.

I'm very happy with my lived in 50 year old face..... ageing is normal and growing old is a privilege.

My face is round and I have big eyes, I'm late twenties but often get told I can pass for 22 and sometimes younger.
I don't apreciate it too much now as I'd prefer to be seen as I am and that's an adult with some life experience at this point, youthful looks do not help. I'm sure I will appreciate it more in a few years.

Younger. I’m a few weeks away from 29 but I’ve been told by three different people recently that I look 23 and one person couldn’t believe I’d been married for three years (I had to insist that I was old enough! Grin)

People say I look younger than I am. My Mum definitely does. I've smoked a lot of my adult life. I use the sun bed and love to sunbathe. I look a bit younger now as had Botox in my crows feet since this photo 😊

@MaidenMotherCrone I totally agree with you.. growing older is a privilege we should all be grateful for. You have a beautiful face, and a lovely smile which makes you radiate.
