Be honest long term couples how often do you DTD

Asking really people who are in a long term relationships with children how often? Had a chat with some friends recently who admitted its a lot less than you would think. Thought people might be more honest on a Anonymous forum.

Christmas and birthdays, whether we want to or not.

Few times a week, generally. Though we can have "bad" weeks with nothing but it's normally more than made up for later on :)

1 or 2 times a week..... sometimes more sometimes less. but thats roughly our average.

Probably twice a week, may be more on a good week!

Average twice a week. Sometimes a couple of weeks go by with nothing and then we make up for it with a few times In a day/ over a weekend!

On average 2 to 3 times a week. Sometimes more if we're having a better week (and DH comes to bed at a reasonable hour!)

Depends. Probably averages about 1.5 times a week but isn’t an even distribution

Once a week average at the moment but I’m currently pregnant and already have a 1yo so somewhat lacking in time/energy/awakeness 😂. Before being pregnant it was probably every other day average, now if I’m in bed I’m sleeping!

Very rarely, but I'm not representative - I'm ASD and on the asexual spectrum - don't tend to care either way, but sometimes the sensations are too too much - and DP is used to that (and works awkward hours so we barely see each other when DC is asleep)

Was monthly/more when TTC, but rare now while pregnant. Probably around monthly when not TTC too, but I've forgotten.

Once a week (occasionally twice) 1 year old DS and 5 months pregnant so too tired at bedtime as both working full time but usually manage it at weekend

2/3 times a week - more regular now the DC are a little older...but hardly ever in the evening. Night time is for sleeping 😴

It varies, can sometimes be 2/3 a week. We haven't dtd for over 2 weeks now though 🙈 I'm cold and tired. Dh tried it last night I just pretended I was asleep. That's really mean but honestly it's far to cold.

Around once every other month/6 times a year. Only really got this bad start of 2018, and then we went for months without. I’d like it to be more frequent, however he prefers only oral and that’s a couple times a week.

On average once a week.

We’ve been married for 30 years. In our experience it ebbs and flows, before dc came along we were at it like rabbits, then it averaged 2-3 times a week. We went through about 5 years where it was less than once a week, the dc both left home about 4 years ago and we’re back to “at it like rabbits”, its fab and long may it last.

Four or five times per month, according to my period tracker. Not evenly distributed throughout the month though.

Twice a week roughly, more if we are away or child free. It’s very difficult with teenagers and younger children in the house! Well I find it is, other people probably don’t find it an issue, I just find it harder to relax knowing that they are about. I don’t like locks on doors!!

Probably about once a month just now. Have a baby attached to my arm pretty much 24/7 though. Used to be about once a week.
