I have to travel a lot for work, as well as doing it for pleasure so it's quite a lot. When I was younger and took a year out for traveling, I did it do that I could pass the as many countries as possible so I think it's probably over 150, even if a lot of those were just passing through.

Like other posters I would also have put Mallorca, Menorca and Lanzarote, but have checked online and apparently although the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands are “autonomous communities” they are in fact part of Spain (don’t know how that compares with the situation of different countries of the UK).

Oh, and I’ve been to the Isle of Wight but am pretty certain that it is not a separate country.

England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Irish Republic, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands, Croatia, Morocco, USA, Canada, Israel, Kyrgyzstan. Thats 20. I won't count changing planes in Moscow.

Compared to most of my friends, I have hardly travelled at all.
