Agree whisky my bias is I can't stand sturgeon and I don't like him either, having met him or not. I also am of the opinion when it's this many charges and from more than one person, and where the cps needs to be very sure due to thr publicity then history tells us there is normally something to it. These are very serious charges indeed.

I do agree it doesn't look good with so many charges. Not a good situation all round.

Not overly friendly or having consenting affairs... but assaults and attempted rapes.

It's quite shocking really, as said, I'm guessing he's going for consensual, that's why he didn't say he's never went near those women or it. Was fabricated and all platonic, they must have something that proves a sexual element so he can't dispute that, which only leaves consent to be disputed. Hence his statement there was no criminality.

My sister was a constituent of his and he went way above and beyond for her. I've met him a few times and liked him.

I know how difficult it is for women to speak up. Takes more than bravery. I wouldn't think this was concocted as an anti-Nat plot.

According to the lunchtime news He is appearing at Edinburgh sheriff court today for a criminal case. He was arrested and charged yesterday but was released last night. So far the actual details apart from that haven't been released. It was mentioned that the details might not be released as in reported by the media due to privacy.

The case he won was a civil case.

they are saying the two are separate which is true as they are unconnected cases in the sense that one being civil the other being a criminal case it's likely that they both stem from the same situation/s

Well so do lots of men that aren’t accused of sex crimes... doesn’t mean that Nicola Sturgeon is having sex with them either.

What you’re basically doing is implying that these were consensual acts gone wrong somehow and that Nicola must have slept her way into the job tbh.

Regarding Alex Salmond, innocent until proven guilty but it doesn't look good. I feel so sorry for his wife, who is quite elderly, and for all his many supporters.

The case he won was a Judicial Review - where the handling of the complaint by the Scots Gov was found to be flawed.

The conspiracy theorists must never have met any cops if they think for one minute that Police Scotland would have acted on any request from TM asking them to charge him to suit her timetable! That would be the quickest way of making sure they did just the opposite.
