I’m talking the ridiculous ones, so not meaning to offend anyone. If you remember the story how you heard it please include that too!

Mine Grin
When I was in hospital after my c section 6 weeks ago, lady across from me was talking to a nurse. The conversation went like this-

Nurse “he’s gorgeous! Does he have a name?”
Lady “yeh he’s legend king, after my dad”
Nurse “ooh....lovely!”
Lady “yeah named him after my dad as my dad died yesterday, same day e was born”
Nurse “oh I’m so sorry!”
Lady “it’s alright happened years ago, he was stabbed never liked the bastard serves him right!”
Nurse “okay! Right you can have these pain killers...”

😂😂 know I shouldn’t laugh but me and my mum told everyone at Christmas.

Names and stories please!

A mum friend I know called her daughter Raya which is awesome. But Sunshine as a middle name. She insists on using the whole name too which I find very twee. Her son is called Harry so a 'normal' boring name. When she calls them both there's too many R's going on.

NoMoreMarbles · 09/01/2019 23:06

Someone I used to work with has a granddaughter called Je'Taime... like the french phrasing...

Beautiful child but what a ridiculous name!

Each to their own I suppose but I definitely judge that choice!

JeremyCorbynsBeard · 09/01/2019 23:07

Lollipop. Called out at doctor's surgery.

Strawbberrypineapple · 09/01/2019 23:08

Overheard in a hairdressers that someone had called their child ' Lemony Sunshine'

Strawbberrypineapple · 09/01/2019 23:10

jeremy Ive heard Lollipop before too. A gran was telling me about her gds teacher who refused to call her by the name and used her middle name. The girl said thats not my name its Lollipop!

You've just reminded me I know a baby called Brian! It's a perfect normal name but it is just unusual to hear it on a baby.
