I’m talking the ridiculous ones, so not meaning to offend anyone. If you remember the story how you heard it please include that too!

Mine Grin
When I was in hospital after my c section 6 weeks ago, lady across from me was talking to a nurse. The conversation went like this-

Nurse “he’s gorgeous! Does he have a name?”
Lady “yeh he’s legend king, after my dad”
Nurse “ooh....lovely!”
Lady “yeah named him after my dad as my dad died yesterday, same day e was born”
Nurse “oh I’m so sorry!”
Lady “it’s alright happened years ago, he was stabbed never liked the bastard serves him right!”
Nurse “okay! Right you can have these pain killers...”

😂😂 know I shouldn’t laugh but me and my mum told everyone at Christmas.

Names and stories please!

harry hill once said it was only a matter of time until a kid was called "oooh, danone"

twin boys called gucci and rolex. absolutely seriously. hopefully they're a: well dressed and b: never late?!?!?!

I once met twins whose names fully rhymed. Not just the first names but the middle names too (in a culture where full names are used very often).

Like Clara Holly and Zara Polly. Not the real names.

The worst thing was that one of the women was named after their grandmother, and the other one was just the rhyme.

I also went to school with siblings Murray and Mary. Not a blended family situation, full siblings. Everyone thought it was really odd.

Nice names, though, and I suppose you're not with your sibling all the time after childhood anyway.

There’s a guy on animal cops called Randy Farmer which I think is a brilliant name

I've also come across Atlas recently.
In my naive sheltered world, I've never heard about the dash thing like A-lee being Adashlee. That's incredible!!
And as for 'arry well that's unbelievable too ShockHmm

Pacer. I might not have noticed if it hadn't been for the fact he wouldn't sit still!

Siblings Charlie and Lottie. Nice on their own, but I'm guessing they don't have the full names on the birth certificates (or maybe they do and the parents really really struggled to agree on names!).

Alicesweewonders · 18/08/2019 12:21

Double barrelled first names make me cringe

Muddledupme · 18/08/2019 12:27

Meddle pronounced medley and yes I did check whilst trying to keep my jaw off the floor.

I know of siblings Dennis and Denise, also Kevin and Keiva! ALL named after their fathers Confused

Seen on a sponsors' list recently - Journey Cloud

Khaleesi (pre season 8). This one really annoys me as any real GOT fan would know her name is Daenerys which would actually make a pretty name whilst Khaleesi is just clunky.
