Worst baby names you’ve heard of recently..

I’m talking the ridiculous ones, so not meaning to offend anyone. If you remember the story how you heard it please include that too!

Mine
When I was in hospital after my c section 6 weeks ago, lady across from me was talking to a nurse. The conversation went like this-

Nurse “he’s gorgeous! Does he have a name?”
Lady “yeh he’s legend king, after my dad”
Nurse “ooh....lovely!”
Lady “yeah named him after my dad as my dad died yesterday, same day e was born”
Nurse “oh I’m so sorry!”
Lady “it’s alright happened years ago, he was stabbed never liked the bastard serves him right!”
Nurse “okay! Right you can have these pain killers...”

😂😂 know I shouldn’t laugh but me and my mum told everyone at Christmas.

I saw a One Born Every Minute where the midwives told a story of a baby called Eva Toni-Ann which is a perfectly nice name until you realise the dad was a huge Everton fan .

I knew a guy named Tedious ; think it was a misinterpretation of Thadious

Not as bad as some of these, but we were out for dinner last Sunday lunchtime and there was a little Alexa running round.
She was about 3 or 4 so perhaps the Amazon Alexa wasn't as popular then as it is now. As it was, every time her parents called her name DS would mutter "turn the sitting room lamps off"

Bit taken aback when our Romanian builder told us his son was called Randy.
Anarchy - who will probably grow up to be very conforming.

Teenager at DH's school announced her baby sister is to be called Candida.

Teen Mom couple are calling their kid Tezlee.

Candida is actually a traditional name. Sadly it's now associated with thrush

Beyoncé. The little girl is now about 6 years old. I think her parents ought to be fined and/or arrested.

I went to school with a girl called Coriander.

When I did work experience at a nursery there was a little boy called Linseed

On the tv a few months ago there was a situation where airline staff has been caught laughing at a child named....'abcde' think it's pronounced 'abi-sidy' ... the mother was spouting off that they had upset her young daughter. 🙄Why on earth give your kids awful names that attract the wrong type of attention.

My BIL talks about going to school with Robert Barr.... shortened obviously by his friends to Bob 💩
