For anyone who's staying in on NYE... shall we make our own party?

There was a thread last year with a virtual NYE party and I can't see one at the moment so I thought I'd start one. I am bringing Matchmakers (mint) and shed loads of Heroes. Who else?

I'm back in the room. One teenager arrived home, deciding she would rather be here than with a lot of drunken people in a working men's club with her DF's family.
Brizzle and Vitty's I will let it me known that I grew up in W-o-T. And spent Christmas in those leafy suburbs. I don't live there now.

I'm here - just dropped off DS at a party - DH andI here now with a bottle of wine and the TV ( vintage TOTP at the moment) - ( Ds will make his own way back ) - have the excitement of taking the dogs out for a walk later and then the fireworks on the television Grin It's excitement enough for me Wine Gin Flowersand Brew to all

DH is watching Last Leg, I’ve spent the evening decorating a birthday cake for tomorrow... off to bed with a cup of tea and a slice of Christmas cake, Happy New Year all!

I`ve been and put clean sheets and duvet cover on though - nothing but the high life for me.

Watching crap tv, trying to finish a book, half heartedly waiting for the fireworks cos the kids want me to record it for them and having a drink in memory of my dad who died on a New Year’s Eve. Never really been one for partying tonight but even less so now.

DP went to bed at 9pm so I'm watching tv on my own, yawn. Would be great to find a house party and drink, sing and dance til 3am. Never mind. Hope you all have a wonderful 2019 full of fun and happiness xx

I'm back, I tried to make homemade hot chocolate but it went grainy and disgusting! Now mindlessly flicking through channels on the TV in the hope of finding something to watch.

Can I join your party I bring a big bottle of water as after having my nye plans right royally shit on I had a lovely row with the bloody spineless wimp I live with and have taken myself to the bedroom away from him so I don't let the dsd know exactly what I think of her mother, I need cheering up and feel like I want to get dressed up and go out on the piss but don't know anyone in this bloody village
