No

Nothisispatrick · 25/12/2018 14:09

Yes mostly

RandomUsernameHere · 25/12/2018 14:09

No

Frosty66611 · 25/12/2018 14:10

Yes I do usually. But I went out for food recently and ordered a roast dinner which I salted before tasting and it was inedible as it must have already been very salty. I’m going to start tasting first in future

IHaveBrilloHair · 25/12/2018 14:10

No, but Dd does.

Weezol · 25/12/2018 14:13

No - autocondimenters drive me crackers. They should all be sent for re-education.

MelanieCheeks · 25/12/2018 14:14

Only on chips.

puddinglump · 25/12/2018 14:14

Out for a meal no but something certain members of my family have cooked yes! They really skimp on salt and it’s terrible

randomsabreuse · 25/12/2018 14:18

Depends. If I've cooked it for me plus kids, definitely because everything I cook for my kids has minimal salt.

Roast potatoes always get salt once opened, unless I've got gravy on them.

Restaurants, other people's cooking, never!

Heuschrecke · 25/12/2018 14:28

Never - except on unsalted chips!

bumblebee39 · 25/12/2018 14:29

Yes I put it on everything that isn't smothered in gravy

dizzydaisies · 25/12/2018 14:29

Yep, always!

bumblebee39 · 25/12/2018 14:29

Well... Maybe not on bacon

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 25/12/2018 14:31

No, rarely put it on food (just chips)
Don't use it in cooking either.

Fluffyears · 25/12/2018 14:37

Yes I like salty food. If people point it out I just shrug i’m not asking them to eat it.

FreeButtonBee · 25/12/2018 14:39

Really only chips. Although MIL’s food could do with some/a lot, but I don’t have the balls to ask!

PinkHeart5914 · 25/12/2018 14:40

Only chips, I taste everything else first and then smother in salt & normally pepper. Most people imo can’t season food properly!

Stephisaur · 25/12/2018 14:44

No, my dad told me it was rude and an insult to the chef.

I always taste first, salt if required.

italiancortado · 25/12/2018 14:45

I don't put salt on at all

BumDisease · 25/12/2018 14:46

Unless it's chips, no. It's a bit rude!

Deadringer · 25/12/2018 14:47

Only on chips, as a pp said. I think it's very rude if guests salt their food before they taste it.

AviatorShades · 25/12/2018 14:50

Another saying only chipsHmm

Harat · 25/12/2018 14:51

Yes, I love salt and I know that a usual person's seasoning won't be enough

AlexanderHamilton · 25/12/2018 14:52

I don’t put salt on anything.

Kimtag · 25/12/2018 14:53

Only on potatoes if made by family or a chip shop.
