So my wonderful husband to be just said "fuck off you cunt" to me twice because I asked him to help me carry 9 bags of shopping from the car in the rain while he was playing on the PlayStation.

Just came to vent.

He sounds dreamy.

lynnepot · 21/12/2018 21:37

He sounds nice.

Haggisfish · 21/12/2018 21:38

Leave. Or throw him out, preferably. And please don’t have dc with him.

HollowTalk · 21/12/2018 21:38

What a disgusting man. What are you going to do?

HollowTalk · 21/12/2018 21:38

Do you have children together?

OnlineAlienator · 21/12/2018 21:38

Do. Not. Breed. With. Him.

formerbabe · 21/12/2018 21:38

husband to be

Well, it could be worse...he could be your actual husband.

BaronessBomburst · 21/12/2018 21:39

Is this because you want 150 posters to tell you not to marry him?
I'll start.
Don't marry him.

Weenurse · 21/12/2018 21:40

I would go. leave him to his PlayStation , I am sure it will keep him warm at night

JustMarriedAndLovingIt · 21/12/2018 21:42

I’ll join in with PP. Don’t marry him. My ex husband used to call me names like that. Note...EX husband.

user9981752 · 21/12/2018 21:43

He's never ever ever said that to me before. I'm honestly speechless

OP posts:
tectonicplates · 21/12/2018 21:43

Don't marry him.

youaremyrain · 21/12/2018 21:44

Name calling is abusive and unacceptable in any relationship.

The only acceptable amount of abuse in any relationship is zero.

If you marry him, it will get worse.

Awrite · 21/12/2018 21:45

Well, he's showing you who he is - are you going to take heed?

AnneLovesGilbert · 21/12/2018 21:45

He’s told you what he thinks of you. If you put up with this it’ll get worse. Venting won’t stop you having a shit marriage if you decide to let him treat you like this.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 21/12/2018 21:45

IMO he's just gained EX potential husband status.

I've been with mine for 43 years and even now if he spoke to me like that he'd be burnt toast before he knew it and I love the absolute bones of him.

GertrudeCB · 21/12/2018 21:46

There is always a first time .......

Babdoc · 21/12/2018 21:48

Well he very obviously doesn’t want to get married and is hoping you’ll dump him. That way he can play the injured victim and make out it’s all your fault the wedding is off.

helpmum2003 · 21/12/2018 21:50

That is unacceptable iny opinion. Not sure I could come back from that....

MrsTommyBanks · 21/12/2018 21:52

Please don't marry him.

Botanica · 21/12/2018 21:53

His guard was down and he's shown you exactly the sort of man he really is and how little respect he has for you.

I wouldn't be tolerating that and it would be the start of the end. When my husband began speaking to me like that he was very quickly my ex.

It only gets worse.

Do not marry him and do not have a family with him. You deserve better.

LastOneDancing · 21/12/2018 21:53

Just came to vent

So you're going to accept this?

MrsGg8 · 21/12/2018 21:54

You shouldn't marry someone who treats you or speaks to you like that Shock

isitreallymyfault · 21/12/2018 21:54

Although I am sure you are not a cunt, I would just do as he has asked and fuck off!!

Stephisaur · 21/12/2018 21:54

Wow. Just... wow.

I’d be putting the PlayStation out in the rain when he goes to bed.
