How old were you when you had your first?

I’m 34 and TTC. Having always thought I only wanted one, I’m now thinking that we might want a larger family (two or three) and am wondering if we’ve left it too late.

So can I ask; how old were you when you had your first child and how many do you have now?

36 and second one at 39
A miscarriage before each one

27 and 29!

Now mid 30’s and debating a last but highly unlikely to happen naturally!

Dh isn’t too keen as he’s a 10 years older than me and doesn’t want to go back to the baby stage.

38 for first then a couple of months short of 43 for 2nd. You have plenty of time. Good luck

I was 19. I have two.

Also, you may not want more than one, or two. So I wouldn’t worry about it yet.

1st - 38
2nd - 40

I was 25 I have two and one on the way ... I'm now 30

Pregnant at 34, had first child at 35. 20 months later I will be having my second child at 36.

32 and I have 3.

First at 22, last at 27, 4 total, I'm 35 now.

I had mine at 24,31 and 34. I would like 1 or 2 more but my womb is a bit damaged now so we will have to see if it happens or not. You probably haven’t left it too late hoov1 in 7 will have problems.

First and only at 19, I'm 30 now and keep getting intrusive thoughts about wanting another. That may be due to hormones though!

I was 36

21 and 27. Two miscarriages in between.

Had my first at 35 and went on to have 2 more with 2 and a half year age gap each time.. You have time...

First at 19. Second at 22.
Now struggling to concieve at 34

36 and I. He was the easiest baby and I didn't think I could get that lucky twice so stuck at 1. No regrets. He's 26 now.

37, 39 and 41.

34 and all being well second due next month at 38 (only just!) That will 100% be it.

First 21. Second 25.

First 34, second 36. Felt like good ages for us.

I know MN is full of people conceiving easily at 43 but several people I know are now struggling ttc at 40+ having thought it would be fine. So you’ve got time for three but realistically would need fairly close gaps.

28 and have 2.

32 when I had my first. I had my youngest the day before my 35th birthday.
