I love food, but people who don't know me well sometimes think I am picky because I don't like...
Pasta. Of any kind. No noodles, spaghetti, or anything. It's the texture I'm sensitive to, it just makes me naucious.
Also not nearly as bad but I dislike lettuce. Absolutely love spinach though.

Avocado, being vegan it seems I'm committing some sin when I say this to fellow vegans Grin

WaterBird · 19/12/2018 06:45

Hahaha, avocado is my favourite!
Definitely not a sin not to like it though!

Pizza. The only time I enjoy it is in the US.

Insomnibrat · 19/12/2018 06:52

Any and all seafood EXCEPT anything with suckers on. Love a bit of octopus.

MeetOnTheSIedge · 19/12/2018 06:54

Trifle, especially if it's got alcohol in it. Cold custard, soggy cake, yuck.

WaterBird · 19/12/2018 06:54

@Insomnibrat
Bet you wish you were me then! I can't eat seafood, as am allergic.

I'm not struck on avocado either. Mushy Green pap 🤮
I'm also not keen on tomatoes on their own or in sarnies, or porridge.

All of them texture issues. I think I'll eat anything else.

ProfessionallyUnoffended · 19/12/2018 06:54

Anything with cooked cheese, yuk!

Nakedavenger74 · 19/12/2018 06:56

I eat everything except goats cheese and custard. Vile. Most people seem to have them as The Most Favourite Food and react with incredulity.

GaryBaldbiscuit · 19/12/2018 06:58

dont like goat's cheese, but it turns out feta is goats cheese, and i like that Blush
dont like lamb

GaryBaldbiscuit · 19/12/2018 06:59

cockles and muscles

GaryBaldbiscuit · 19/12/2018 06:59

steak, roast beef

SinglePringle · 19/12/2018 07:01

Cake and chocolate.

Claggy and taste of fat (as in, oil etc). People think I’m lying.

Ditto hot chocolate. Far too sweet and rich.

MiniTheMinx · 19/12/2018 07:02

Lamb? I love lamb Grin I can't eat bacon. It's chewy, salty, and the texture is revolting, almost as much as it's smell.

DrDiva · 19/12/2018 07:04

Turkey, Brussels sprouts, custard, Christmas pudding, mince pies...

Are you seeing a theme here?!

YouKnowItIs · 19/12/2018 07:04

Aubergine, peppers and courgette - bitter and sour disgusting tastes.

KingPrawnOkay · 19/12/2018 07:05

@WatchingTheWheels85

I’m a vegan who hates avacados too - I’ve never met another one before Grin. Also hummus. And the Sainsbob’s Shroomdogs everyone raves about.

CherryBlossom23 · 19/12/2018 07:05

Cheesecake. I can't handle the texture, makes me want to gag.

fieryginger · 19/12/2018 07:05

Cheese.

Stringofpearls · 19/12/2018 07:06

Alcohol in puddings or desserts, sorry but it just ruins it completely, especially if its a chocolatey one.

Santasshoe · 19/12/2018 07:06

Custard and rice pudding.

Santasshoe · 19/12/2018 07:08

Forgot the one that gets me the most suspicious looks bacon even the smell turns my stomach.

WaterBird · 19/12/2018 07:09

Another food that is vile to me... American cheese, seemingly found all over the US. Just why? Love most other cheeses though.

Plaiceholder · 19/12/2018 07:09

Anything chocolatey - cake, ice cream, mousse etc.

But not chocolate.

Nakedavenger74 · 19/12/2018 07:09

@GaryBaldbiscuit it's usually sheep's cheese actually. Goats feta would be a speciality type
