Overrated:
Luther (and idris Elba for that matter) utter shite!
PLL - dd adored this and we usually have fairly similar tastes. I cannot get into it at all!
Orange is the new black - admittedly I don't like films/shows where the premise is sympathy for drug dealers (it's why I won't watch breaking bad either - sounds like I didn't miss much despite people in real life saying I was missing out and to "give it a chance"), but again dd loved so I gave it a go - hated it!
HIMYM - like it well enough but it's so clearly a rip off of friends but not done as well.
TBBT - loved the earlier seasons but later seasons kinda boring.
"Harrow with Ioan Gruuffuud as a pathologist in Australia." Yes started off well but got silly

Underrated:
Lie to me - I loved this show thought the premise was fascinating and loved the characters too. So bummed that not only was it cancelled but the "owners" won't even let anyone else make/show it! What's that about? Totally miffed it's no longer on Netflix.
Gilmore girls - it's an almost perfect study of toxic families (and not just the gilmores) and I can very much relate to the Lp with one dd dynamic as that's me and dd (without the private education and chichi bed & breakfast - I wish!)
White collar - just strikes the right balance of comedy & drama for me with likeable characters and Matt Bomer is stunning
How to get away with murder - doesn't seem to get the kudos here it has in the states. Fantastic show and I'm beyond ecstatic there's a new season on Netflix!
Golden girls - there were some amazing episodes regarding things like HIV, women's rights etc that were WAY ahead of their time.
Quantum leap I adored - I agree the people I've discussed with in real life have only seen one or 2 episodes. The episodes regarding als own history are just heartbreaking, and I loved the trilogy episodes were wonderfully intricate. So frustrating there's nowhere to watch it online, I don't have a DVD player these days and I'm not getting one just for that!
In plain sight - the American one about witness protection, loved that show.
"but I think Joey (Friends spin off) and Rules of Engagement were quite underrated" agree. I don't think Joey got the support and promotion it deserved.
"Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was fantastic" yes - also didn't get the support it deserved.
Fringe - I was loving this then it was whipped off Netflix!
Disagree:
Sorry but I love this is us and think it's better than brothers & sisters where the characters were a bit too "perfect" and didn't have real problems. It's also a pretty excellent study of family dysfunction this time though it's a family that's very much in denial of its dysfunction.
Friends??? No I love friends always will even with its (few) faults.
Ghost whisperer - got quite repetitive. Medium I preferred but sadly have been unable to see all series.
