Most underrated and overrated TV in your opinion

I'm talking about good TV not shows everyone realises are a bit cack

OVERRATED

This Is Us - everyone shits on about this like it's the most amazing new show in years

It's not as good as Brothers And Sisters was and not as good as Parenthood both similarly themed

UNDERRATED

I never hear anyone talk about Fargo ever and the second series was AMAZING I've just seen it

Never seemed to get any acclaim over here but so good and so funny.

River was vastly underrated too.Stellan Skarsgard & Nicola Walker were brilliant.Such a shame the BBC didn't commission another series.

I agree with Parks & Rec, Alias Grace, Veep and Schitt's Creek being underated, Catherine O'Hara is hilarious!

If you liked Fargo, you’ll love Breaking Bad.

You must have amazing Tv access because everything I get is repeats apart from , X bloody Factor and Eastsoddingbenders and the vomitous One Show.

Overrated: The Walking Dead, a friend lent me her box set and I just couldn't be bothered to watch past the first season.

Underrated: Ripper Street, which suffered from an ill-judged opening episode that frightened a lot of people off. I'm glad I wasn't one of those people.

Breaking Bad was so overrated for us! One series would have been enough!

30 Rock seems very underrated in the U.K. but I love it!

The first time I tried to watch it it took me three attempts with gaps to get into it

I've tried to do a rewatch since and I still haven't because I can't get through it

The fact is Season 1 is a bit boring - for lots of reasons

And then..

Season 4 of Breaking Bad May genuinely be the single greatest lone season of television ever made.

As for his relationship with Skylar fans hated on Skylar a lot but their relationship is actually very complex and develops hugely as she goes from bored wife of an also ran husband to getting a bit of a kick out of the criminal life, to it finally dawning he's a maniac and an abuser and she needs to save herself and her kids.

Line of Duty. 4 seasons in and so much of it still annoys the hell out of me. I wanted to love it I really did but nope.
Walking Dead first few seasons were excellent, then it all went a bit 'meh'
Haunting of Hill House so much hype. So incredibly dull.

Underrated
Wayward Pines Such a twist! And so soon. Bloody loved it. Should have stuck with the one season as intended though as the next fell flat.

@TammySwansonTwo oh you should. It was a scene setter really. I don't think I've ever seen a TV Series with a twist like that so early on.

I read the books it was derived from and they were also quite marvelous. Problem was they used all the books in season 1 so season 2 didn't quite work for me. But as a standalone it was amazing.

I thought that The Detectorists was brilliant. Classic.

Me and DH still say 'Look at meeeee' (said in an Australian accent) to each other, completely baffling DD.

I always loved 'How do you want me?' with Dylan Moran and Charlotte Coleman but no-one else seemed to have heard of it.

I feel this is us is over rated too. The same with breaking bad. I just don’t get the big fascination.

I think the good wife was underrated. Blindspot and the last ship, both amazing shows in thier own right but doesn’t get a lot of chatter.
