If you're up and about, why are you awake?

Waves at fellow night owls.

I've just made a pot of coffee, as have a deadline tomorrow and lost ground this afternoon being faint and ill and useless. My blood sugar has zoomed up to 20 after a crappy hypo, but I'm doing ok for now, though obviously would prefer to be in bed.

If you're up and no plans for sleep yet, what are you doing?

I rarely sleep before 2am. I hope your blood sugars are coming down op, I'm T1 and often suffered rebounding highs after a hypo. I've been on a pump this last year and it's helped me regulate my bgs alot.

olderthanyouthink · 06/12/2018 00:55

Feeding my nearly 3 week old DD and praying that we have a good nights sleep.

BifsWif · 06/12/2018 00:56

My son was up all night with a vomiting bug on Tuesday. It seems he has shared it with me 🤢.

I’m supposed to be having my first counselling session tomorrow, and look at a house, and look after my 3 year old. I really don’t have time to be poorly.

Across the pond here

Just settled the boy, drinking tea 🍵 now

SpoonBlender · 06/12/2018 00:57

I was up playing video games (Elder Scrolls Online) until midnight, and now I'm catching up here :)

I rarely clock out before midnight, 2am is more normal.

AnarchyKitty · 06/12/2018 00:57

I'm awake as my DP is playing some sniper game downstairs where you talk to other people online and is shouting at them. I may turn the router off Angry

BifsWif · 06/12/2018 00:58

Flambola I remember you and your loss. It’s nice to see you around, although I’m sorry you’re struggling Flowers

SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh · 06/12/2018 01:01

@SpoonBlender I LOVE ESO but it's very transaction heavy...

MulledwineMayhem · 06/12/2018 01:03

Anxiety here too, baby fast asleep and will be up at the crack of dawn..precious rest time wasted on an unsettled mind!

SpoonBlender · 06/12/2018 01:05

@SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh I do entirely without pay-for transactions! I bought it for £20 with Summerset and haven't put another penny in. I just like wandering about checking the landscape, questing and thumping (currently) giants and wolves.

Mummblebee · 06/12/2018 01:05

@Flambola I'm so sorry Flowers

SpoonBlender · 06/12/2018 01:06

@AnarchKitty Fully support offing the router. Shouting online is twat behaviour. You should sneak in and delete his savegame too.

SpoonBlender · 06/12/2018 01:07

@Flambola big hugs lovely xxxx

SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh · 06/12/2018 01:07

@SpoonBlender I got it free on Steam Grin

I want to go to Cyrodiil as there's a town named after me in it Wink but I need to level up and I HATE PvP..

SneakyGremlinsBrokeTheSleigh · 06/12/2018 01:08

@Flambola I'm so sorry Flowers

WhoTookTheChristmasCookie · 06/12/2018 01:10

I made the huge error of falling asleep at 8:30. Now wide awake Sad

PyongyangKipperbang · 06/12/2018 01:11

Finished work an hour ago and it takes time to wind down. Also an extreme night owl, 1am would be an early night for me!

Dont turn the router off, just change the password! Then you can prove it is working when he inevitably gets pissed off, it must be his console.........you can change it back in the morning and he will never know. Google "Changing password on (insert providers name here) router" its really easy!

MissConductUS · 06/12/2018 01:11

I'm awake because it's just after 8:00 PM on New York.

SpoonBlender · 06/12/2018 01:12

Oh god, I did that yesterday - 7:30-8:30 spark out on the couch after dinner. I was up until 4.

BifsWif · 06/12/2018 01:12

Calm (the app) is good for getting me back off to sleep when I’m struggling with anxiety.

Feliciaxxx · 06/12/2018 01:12

I'm a night nurse in a prison.

BoudicasBoudoir · 06/12/2018 01:13

Waiting for my baby to go back to sleep so I can move her into her cot. She coughed herself awake so I’ve just fed her and put her down to sleep on my bed. Direct placement in the cot would not go down well.

incallthebloodytime · 06/12/2018 01:13

Insomnia always

delboysskinandblister · 06/12/2018 01:17

@Flombola Flowers I am sorry for your loss. Truly.
