After Christmas I'm starting again with mine. I'm changing the dark grey/blue corner sofa, getting rid of the Ikea bookcases and repainting the nearly white walls. Only problem is I don't know what I'm changing them all to!

I'm (probably) keeping the wooden floorboards, and definitely keeping the tiles around the fireplace.

Any ideas?

I have serious fireplace envy - proper actual working real log fires... 🤢

Where do you all put Sky box , dvd player etc?? We have so many boxes and leads!

Ours is a kitchen / diner. Fire is blazing the now and lovely.

I love seeing inside other people's homes. I always say I'd love to look in every house in our street to see what actually can be done with these small houses.

Mines is all cream/brown/gold but I love my cream and gold glittery wallpaper on the fireplace wall, it really changed the room when we went from greys back to creams.

Thank you for all the pictures, I'm taking note. My problem is I like them all so am no closer to deciding what to do! I had a massive clear out on Saturday though, and have arranged for disposal of current sofa, so slow moves in the right direction have been made.

Love this thread and some of your rooms the one with the blue wall and star up. I havw quite a lot if wall soace but pics would look daft as would clutter the wall nr tell. Desperatelt want my room to be more homely dont know what to do
